Mawlana Sheikh Mehmed Adil. Translations.

With Allah's permission, we would like to give a good advice, nasīḥah, for two minutes. This is the way it was shown to us by the Mashāyikh. Mawlānā Shaykh Nazim advised that after the Fajr prayer, the day should start with a good nasīḥah, with good words. In shā'a Llāh, we will speak two words for blessing and barakah, In shā'a Llāh. We live in difficult times. The Prophet, peace be upon him, praised the believer, mu'min, who preserves his faith in these times. The ṣaḥābah asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, "Who are those you call your beloved? Are we not your beloved?" The Prophet, peace be upon him, replied, you are my companions, my ṣaḥābah. My beloved ones are the believers in the end times. They have not seen me, but they love me. I also love them. That was said by the Prophet, peace be upon him. Moreover, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said to the ṣaḥābah that they should do exactly what they have seen from him. "If you implement only 99 percent of it, I won't be satisfied," said the Prophet, peace be upon him. "But those believers in the end times, my beloved, even if they only do one of a hundred, it is good and enough for them and it will not harm them." If you look at the entire Islamic world, they might only implement a maximum of one percent of what the ṣaḥābah have achieved. What we do may be just one of a hundred things. One of a hundred is already a great achievement for us. May Allah help us. We are fortunate to be part of the community of the Prophet, peace be upon him. This is the greatest honor for us and we should rejoice in it. We should praise the Prophet, peace be upon him, as often as possible. Do not listen to those people who have been jealous since the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, up until now and until the Last Judgment. Anyone who prevents praising the Prophet, peace be upon him, and expressing blessings is simply jealous of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Jealousy is a vile characteristic. It's the first trait that makes up the devil. May Allah protect us from the devil.

We are currently in the month dedicated to the Prophet, as peace be upon him, known as Sha'ban. This month carries a distinct importance amongst believers. In profound honour of the Prophet, peace be upon him, we celebrate this month and many sacred nights within this period. Particularly, the night transitioning from the 14th to the 15th of Sha'ban. During this night, the events of the coming year are determined for everyone, even for the entire world. We are part of this world and everything that happens in it is interconnected with our actions and states of being. This blessed month is Allah’s gift dedicated to the beloved Prophet, peace be upon him. The Prophet, peace be upon him, is the light, not only for Muslims, but for all of mankind. In the early days in Mecca, the Prophet, peace be upon him, faced unprecedented torment. They inflicted untold sufferings on the Prophet, peace be upon him, in every way imaginable. Yet, on the night of Miraj, when the Prophet journeyed to heavens, Allah uplifted the Prophet to unreachable heights. Many extraordinary events unfolded that night. The specifics of where, how and what exactly happened, remain unknown to us. We simply do not know. It is beyond our understanding. The occurrences of that night were exclusive to the Prophet, peace be upon him. During his night journey, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was shown everything: Jannah, Jahannam, Sirat, Mahshar. Allah revealed all these to him during that night. There are no time or space constraints for Allah. It all lies beyond our comprehension. Two or three years after that night of the Miraj, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was ordered to migrate to Medina and leave his hometown Mecca – which is, of course, not an easy thing to do. Mecca was his birthplace, where he grew up. Leaving all that behind was a difficult decision. However, the Prophet, peace be upon him, obeyed Allah's command and left Mecca accompanied by Sayyidina Abu Bakr. Some might wonder why Allah didn't instantaneously transport the Prophet, peace be upon him, to Medina. However, wisdom lies in everything that happens. The Prophet, peace be upon him, had previously journeyed billions of light-years in a second. Yet, how did he migrate to Medina? On a camel. He met with attacks and torture along his journey. There's a profound wisdom behind this. Through this enduring journey, the Prophet, peace be upon him, set a commendable example for all Muslims to follow. However, many Muslims today are unaware of the suffering that the Prophet had to endured. They tend to think they are the only ones who suffer. But, no one has experienced suffering as intense as the Prophet, peace be upon him. The Prophet endured unthinkable forms of torture and suffering. He was pelted with stones, covered in dirt, humiliated, and debased. Despite all this, the Prophet, peace be upon him, remained patient. Had he wanted, a single angel could have put an end to all the abuse. The Prophet, peace be upon him, advised mankind to exhibit patience and accept life as given by Allah. During his journey from Mecca to Medina, numerous extraordinary incidents occurred, particularly in the cave of Ghar al-Thawr. Alhamdulillah, Allah gave us the opportunity to visit that cave. The cave is not large enough to accommodate a conventional visit. It is very tight, difficult to enter or even fit in. The Prophet, peace be upon him, was in that cave and something significant also happened there. What occurred in that cave? All the 7700 Naqshbandi Sheikhs, in their spirituality, pledged allegiance (Bay'ah) to the Prophet, peace be upon him. This gathering in the cave is of particular significance for the Naqshbandi Tariqah, and indeed, all Tariqah. Tariqah is the path of the truth, and there are 41 Tariqah. The Naqshbandi have a special bond with the Prophet, peace be upon him. There in that cave, Sayyidina Abu Bakr, alongside all future Naqshbandi Sheikhs until the Day of Judgment, pledged their allegiance (Bay'ah) to the Prophet, peace be upon him. Until the Day of Judgment, there will be 7700 Naqshbandi Sheikhs in total. This is the way of the Tariqah – the source of their strength. Tariqah and Islam, Shariah, are inseparable. They are intertwined and can't exist separately. Whenever there were severe division among the Muslims and people had lost their way, the Naqshbandi Sheikhs united the Muslims and guided them towards the right path. You might be familiar with Ahmad Sirhind, Mujaddid-i-Alf-i-Sani, but you should also know about Yusuf Hamadani. Yusuf Hamadani was a great saint. He was the mentor of Ahmad Yasawi. Yusuf Hamadani and his disciple Ahmad Yasawi lived in a time when the entire Central Asian region was against Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah. They refused to show respect to Sayyidina Abu Bakr, Umar, or Uthman. They rejected the companions of the Prophet. The entire region shared this sentiment. The creed of the Fatimids from Egypt was prevalent at that time. They opposed the Khulafa'u r-Rashidin. The entire region was against the companions of the Prophet until Yusuf Hamadani and his disciple Ahmad Yasawi arrived. These individuals were great saints. Without any fighting, they alone managed to bring millions of people back to the path of Islam and laid the groundwork for faith in Anatolia before the Ottoman Empire. They prepared this region, and when the Ottomans arrived, Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah was widespread. Without them, these millions would not have returned to the path. If not for these Sheikhs, Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah wouldn't exist there. It is outrageous how some people dare to call such great Sheikhs Mushriks. Without their work, Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah wouldn’t be around. Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah wouldn't have been resurrected without them. Without them, Islam wouldn't have reached as far as the heart of Europe. Without them, Muslims wouldn’t have survived the oppression and tyranny of the Soviet regime. Thanks to these Sheikhs work, may Allah be pleased with them, people were safe from the devil and his aids. For instance, consider Ahmad al-Faruqi as-Sirhindi, also known as Mujaddid-i-Alf-i-Sani who defended Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah- without any fight, without a sword, without a weapon, without a bomb. He successfully reinstated Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah in India and the surrounding regions. We have the privilege of being in line with them. In addition, there are 40 other Tariqahs; all of them are Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah. Particularly in Africa, they established Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah without a fight, only through the spiritual practice of Tasawwuf. Tasawwuf spread from north to south. It spread across west Africa, Nigeria... How can anyone possibly combat this desert? That’s impossible. However, followers of the Tariqah, blessed by Allah, came to this continent, which some demeaningly refer to as the black continent. How audacious of them to label Africa as the black continent? Allah has bestowed light upon the people there. May Allah help them. They endure a lot of suffering, but Allah will reward them. Allah will be pleased with them. The Prophet was also content with them. One time, an incident concerning Bilal al-Habashi took place. During the incident, a Sahaba remarked, "Oh, you son of a black woman." The Prophet was infuriated by this comment and the injustice it projected. The Sahaba rushed to Bilal al-Habashi, apologized, laid his head at Bilal's feet, and confessed, "My head belongs under your feet." This is the level of respect and decency that the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught. This is what the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught. This is what Tariqah and Islam teach. No person is superior to another unless they fear God. And fearing God doesn’t involve pride or arrogance. Pride or arrogance has no place in Tariqah. Tariqah is reserved solely for the humble. The humbler you become, the higher you ascend. The Prophet, peace be upon him, stated: من توادع لله رفعه Whoever humbles themselves for the sake of Allah's love, Allah will elevate them. When people engage with you in an aggressively arrogant manner, it is sometimes befitting to respond assertively. However, it's completely out of line to flaunt your ego before humble, respectful individuals. Regrettably, humble people are often subjected to belittling arrogance. The mindset of anyone who displays pride or arrogance is fundamentally flawed. Considering everything happens through Allah and nothing is of our own achievement, there's no place for self-pride. It is Allah who bestows you with everything. You should acknowledge these gifts with humility and gratitude, rather than using them as a means to look down on others scornfully. Such behavior will lead to your humiliation by Allah. The revered Sheikhs of the past were cautious to avoid statements against another Sheikh. Their conduct contrasted with people today who label themselves as scholars, Sheikhs, Imams, and so on. These people lack the decency and respect of our forerunners. They don't abide by Tariqah, but are guided by their own pride and arrogance. They desire recognition by the loftiest titles. Emulate the old scholars, in one instance they consulted a scholar on an issue. The scholar stated about this issue, "This is unacceptable!" Then they sought the opinion of another, who said about the issue: "That's fine!" Attempting to create discord with these two opposing views, they tried to incite a quarrel between the scholars. They approached the first scholar, saying, "You declared this unacceptable, but the other Sheikh considers it fine!" The scholar responded, "That scholar is like an ocean. A little dirt cannot tarnish the ocean; it washes itself clean." That was the response of the initial scholar. Subsequently, they approached the other scholar, saying, "You deemed it okay, but the other scholar does not find it acceptable!" The second scholar replied, "That scholar is unfailingly pure, as a white sheet. Faint stains do not blemish it." Both scholars dealt with each other with the utmost respect and no one claimed the other was wrong. The scholars maintained perspective on the issue, excusing each other. Such was the nature of the past scholars. Most were disciples of a Sheikh, adherents of the Tariqah, and conducted themselves with decorum. This is of utmost importance. May Allah guide us. We exist in an era marked by an upheaval of norms. The Prophet, peace be upon him, prophesied a time when the feet would ascend to the position of the head. The Sahaba were puzzled, asking, "How is that possible?" Indeed, ineptitude is now placed in control; the feet have become the head. It should be the head, with its understanding and control, not the feet that lead. The head harbors understanding, sight, cognition, and hearing. Yet, we find ourselves in a flipped world where the 'feet' assert control. May Allah assist us. We are in the end times. It’s a critical period. Considering the hardships in today’s world, now is the time to reap the greatest spiritual reward. Despite modern difficulties and suffering, following Allah's path and obeying His commandments will guarantee you incomparable rewards from Allah. May Allah help all Muslims. Every day, we witness people spiraling into a misguidance. Do not succumb to unsavory influences or fall for the enticing words of unscrupulous individuals who coax, "Try it once, it'll make you happy." Resist going along. Putting a foot in will land you in a trap from which escape becomes impossible. This advice is not only for the present, but also for distant listeners. Keep away from people of ill-repute and unfavorable company. Associating with such people is like visiting a blacksmith, so cautions the Prophet, peace be upon him. You either risk getting singed or carrying off an unwelcome scent. Spending time with people harboring negative energy will affect you similarly, dragging you down into unhappiness. So, it’s best to avoid such company from the beginning. We are living in the final era. Insha’Allah, the arrival of Mahdi Alayhissalam will usher in an urgently-needed breakthrough. We anticipate this event, as was foretold by the Prophet, peace be upon him, the most trustworthy and honest, Sadiq al-Amin! His predictions will inevitably manifest. Just a few events remain unrevealed, until Mahdi Alayhissalam arrives to rescue this world from all evils, unsanctity, and corrupt individuals. The world will then be pure, insha'Allah. As conveyed by Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, we should invoke Allah in every prayer to hasten the arrival of Mahdi Alayhissalam. Insha’Allah, Allah will send him swiftly.

On every occasion we thank Allah for what He has given us. Specifically we thank Allah for his greatest gift: And the greatest gift of all is to be allowed to belong to the community of Allah's Messenger and be a part of Ummah of Muhammad - peace and blessings upon him. This is the most valuable, precious gift that Allah has given us. And the noblest creature is the human being. At the same time, it is also man who despises good and blessed things. People tend to favour what in truth harms them. They run away from what's good for them, they hate it. Strangely enough, people despise what is good for them. Allah has given people intelligence, reason and insight. Yet they run towards dangers, toxic things, destruction. They strive for what is bad for them. People are in a state of rebellion and upheaval against their Creator and they complain even though the signs of Allah are visible. Allah the Almighty order in the Holy Quran: إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ Truly in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the change of day and night there are signs for people with reason. (3:190) These signs are meant to be accepted and lived by people. Nonetheless, people do not tread Allah's path but run away. What Allah has gifted us is immeasurably valuable. We should always thank Allah for it These gifts are not our own achievements because we are so smart or great. We must acknowledge that it is Allah who gives us. These gifts come from Allah. و َ بِالشُّكْر ِ تَدُوم النَّعَم How can we fulfill this? If we thank Allah and constantly express gratitude in view of the gifts of Allah, the good things will continue. If you do not thank Allah, you must worry about your state. Many people often fear, how can we preserve our faith. In order for the blessings and gifts of Allah to continue, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said that the blessings and gifts of Allah continue when one expresses his gratitude and gratitude endures blessings Therefore, we thank Allah for allowing us to receive the gift of faith. May our faith continue with our gratitude. May this gift never cease and never be denied to us. This is good news, how we can protect our faith, thank Allah for it! Of course, faith is constantly endangered. One of the greatest dangers to faith is to constantly complain. Do not complain! People find it hard to keep their own dissatisfaction in check. People complain, criticise, complain constantly. There are people who, despite illness, wastefulness, and many other self-inflicted problems, do not complain about their condition, although they have every reason to do so. These people have the greatness to not complain despite all adversities. At the same time there are many people who have everything, who have happiness in abundance and yet are constantly dissatisfied. They have made it a habit to be dissatisfied and constantly complain. They literally take pleasure in moaning the time. One who has faith knows that everything in this world is a test. We do not live in paradise. We live in this world, the so-called Dunya. Dunya is an Arabic word and stands for the bottom. Dunya signifies the lowermost, not the highest. This world is not a lofty place, but quite the opposite. Every kind of evil can happen to you here. But whoever is patient and recognizes the wisdom in it, will be happy. He will not only be happy in this world, but will also be rewarded in the hereafter and will occupy a special place from Allah on the Day of Judgment, while others will find no shade, neither a tree nor a tent-like covering. For some, the Day of Judgment may last many years: ten years, hundred years, sometimes thousands of years for some people, or even hundreds of thousands of years. Neither food nor water will be available on that day, but only the scorching sun on the heads of the people. Only the people who were patient in life and followed the commands of Allah will find refuge under Allah's shadow. Allah will shade those who were patient and followed the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him, every day. They will be safe and nothing will affect them. Others will cry, suffer, and go through so much. But the God-fearing people will be safe on that day and wait in peace for their transition to paradise and they will not have a long waiting period. They may enter paradise without waiting for long. However, those who were not happy with Allah , with His commands and constantly complained and afflicted other people, will have to wait. All these things are now happening in this world and people's suffering has already begun in the end times of this world. All over the whole world, people are being harm and only partially report what people actually have to go through. But whoever is patient, perseveres and asks Allah for help, will be safe in the hereafter. One may not be safe from suffering in this world, but with patience and godliness, one will be safe in the hereafter. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that those who fall victim and become martyrs have received the grace of Allah. In the Hereafter, the martyrs will wish to be sent back a thousand times in order to die a thousand times as martyrs. We live in difficult times. The difficulty is felt everywhere, in some places more, in some less. Even in places where there is no war, people suffer in different ways. They suffer, for example, from the economy or from oppression. Even without war, there is oppression and people are forced to change their lifestyle. Everyone feels this oppression, but one must be patient. Our instruction to people is to be patient. If you want something, ask Allah for it. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim said so. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim foresaw things maybe ten years, twenty years in advance and already told us how we should behave. And what did he tell us? Did he tell us to go out on the streets to demonstrate, to smash windows, shops? Is this how Muslims should behave? Is that what he told us? No! Mawlana Sheikh Nazim knew that such behaviours are deliberately provoked to incite hatred against Islam. In order to counter this, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim instructed us that if you want something, do not go out on the street and don't shout. In the Holy Quran, Allah orders: ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ (49:02) A Mu'min, a believer, has to stay calm. He should not let himself be treated as a plaything by others. No. You want something? Then go to the mosque, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim said. Sit there and ask Allah. The mosque is the house of Allah. There Allah looks at you and listens to you. But if you scream, fight, make trouble and destroy things, then this is only to the advantage of Shaytan and his followers. We ask Allah to help us and the Muslims everywhere. Wherever Muslims are in this world, they suffer. Everywhere Muslims are exposed to oppression. In some places more, in other places less. Of course, this oppression is not shown publicly. Nobody is interested. What happens in the world is a disaster. A disaster for all people and especially for Muslims. We pray that Allah sends us Mahdi for all mankind. Because without him, no one can save this world and humanity from the abyss that they are heading toward. They are destroying all humanity. That's what they aim for. We thank Allah, for also finding inner happiness under these circumstances. Through the Prophet, peace be upon him, we know that Allah has promised the whole world will be in Islam and peace. When Mahdi, peace be upon him, arrives, everything will be perfect. Right now, everything is bad. People are tearing each other apart like cannibals, killing each other and destroying everything. This is the worst time since Adam, peace be with him. The Prophet, peace be with him, warned us of this time when he said a time will come when it will be forbidden to speak good. We now live in a time when one must say and do wrong and practise everything that Allah has forbidden. In today's world, it is forbidden to do what Allah commands. Therefore, we now live in the worst time in the history of humanity. As soon as the badness reaches its peak, it will go down. We hope that by the will of Allah, we now reach the time in which humanity is saved. Mahdi, peace be with him, will save us by the permission of Allah. This is what the Prophet, peace be upon him, predicted and this is what we as Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah believe. Our faith is based on what the Prophet, peace be with him, said. Everything that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said is truth and will happen because he is the truly trustworthy: Sadiqu l-amīn! We thank Allah for that! This is now the last thing that is still outstanding. In this world, nothing will get better, but everything will get worse. With the permission of Allah, only Mahdi, peace be upon him, can stop this and turn it to the good. May Allah send him to us! That's what we pray for! And on the instruction of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, we are not the ones who are out there screaming, destroying and causing harm. We are with Allah. Silāḥ al-Mu'min ad-Du'ā: The weapon of the believer is his prayer. The prayer of a believer is more effective than missiles, more effective than tanks, guns, bombs. The prayer of a believer is more effective. This is Allah's promise. We thank Allah and we ask Allah to send Mahdi, peace be upon him. Inshallah we will be with him on that beautiful day. After these gloomy and dark days, we will experience light and happiness all over the world with the will of Allah and the whole world will say: ‘There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger’, peace be upon him. May it be very near with Allah's permission.

Allah willing, we're heading for England today. We're planning on seeing many places there, if Allah permits. There are Muslims dwelling in these parts. And there are those who have found their way to Islam later on. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim spent many years visiting and guiding people to the faith in those places. People from all corners of the earth found their way there. And he used to stay there throughout the three holy months. The Muslims who arrived there began to embrace the Tariqah. And non-Muslims found the path to Islam. They were blessed with the honor of Islam. For indeed, Islam is a great honor. So wherever Islam goes, it brings light. Where there's no Islam, there's darkness, there's evil. Of course, the devil never rests. Ever attempting to bring it down. In the heart of London lies, praise be to Allah, the largest dergah of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. In the epicenter of disbelief. Ready to quash disbelief. That was the intent of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, to defeat disbelief. But what is disbelief? Evil! Nothing more. In his aim to do good, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim strove to spread Allah's light far and wide. Such was his mission. And Allah blesses him for his intent. May Allah elevate his standing. And thanks be to Allah, the work of Mawlana Sheikh Nazim persists. He continues guiding humanity towards righteousness, even from the otherworldly realm of Barzakh. He helps people navigate their way. May his standing be further elevated by Allah. If Allah so permits, the way of Allah Almighty and the Prophet, as shown my Mawlana Sheikh Nazim, will continue. What's the purpose of the journey we are now embarking on? To be the means to bring Allah's light to the darkest hub of disbelief. Despite having a large Muslim presence. But the risk is essentially high. The devil undertakes everything to mislead and destroy them. So, we need to construct strongholds of faith. And bolster the existing fortresses. Our ambition, if Allah allows, is to follow Mawlana Sheikh Nazim's path. We're resolved to steer people towards right guidance, strengthening their faith. People often inquire what the the purpose of the Tariqah is? It's to fortify faith. Being a Muslim is one thing, possessing true faith is a step beyond. You can be a Muslim by name, but having true faith makes you a stronger Muslim. Being a Muslim and to stand up for one's faith does not mean to attack or destroy. Our mission is to extend Allah's mercy, grace, and light to all. May Allah assist us in our efforts. May Allah aid our brethren who are on this path, and steer us right.

Sometimes wealth can be a blessing, at other times it can be a curse. Some folks feel extraordinary when they're flush with cash. They turn up their noses at others, full of themselves and brimming with arrogance. They refuse to face the truth. They try to do things according to their own thoughts and likings. What drives them to this? Inside each person, there lurks an assumption of godliness, like that of Pharaoh. The ego treats wealth and gold as yardsticks for power. So, when these mixed-up folks get a taste of this power, they start to feel exceptional. This is nothing new; it's an age-old tale. It's in our nature, the way the Almighty Allah molded us. Allah is also the creator of ego and the devil. Those who follow them feel an urge to play God when they accomplish something great. It’s an old story, and it repeats itself even today. Nowadays, it's even more glaring. Besides the power of money, there's also the power that comes with knowledge. Allah Almighty blesses them with a tiny amount of knowledge, and they suddenly proclaim: "With this, we can rule the world." They think this knowledge is significant, but in truth, it is not even an atom. In fact, comparing it to the magnificence of Allah, the Almighty, is sheer audacity. Pharaoh claimed, "I am your supreme deity. Rabbukumu-l'a'la. I am your highest god." There will always be Pharaohs. And this cycle continues even today. But in Allah's wisdom, such pharaoh-like individuals are despised. Because they stand in opposition to Allah. Anyone who defies Allah faces the scorn of the people. Even if people associate with them out of self-interest, they don't genuinely hold these Pharaoh-like figures dear. Even those who act like a Pharaoh only spend a fleeting amount of time in this world. And then they depart, just like all the Pharaohs before them. Therefore, it's unwise to become ensnared by wealth and possessions. If you're wealthy, you should put your money to work in Allah's service. This will make you a well-regarded and cherished individual. Because Allah values generosity. Almighty Allah treasures those who share their blessings so that others may benefit. Generous hearts never harbor delusions of divinity. Because they understand that only Allah, the Almighty, has true dominion over all. If Allah chooses to bless us with wealth, our role is to use this fortune in His service. This is indeed a great blessing and source of genuine happiness. This world is not everlasting. Even if you possessed the entirety of this world, one day you would have to let it go. Thus, a wise person adheres to Allah's commands and uses the gifts given by Allah for His cause. Walk the path of Allah. 41 00:05:29,633 --> g00:05:41,033 May Allah grant us all His blessings and enable us to use them in His service. May we be among those whom Allah loves. May Allah be pleased.

In the pursuit of valuable things, enemies abound. Whether it's jewelry, money, or real estate. These adversaries dedicate their time to scheming how to take your possessions. Yet, the most valuable possession of all is faith. And the greatest enemy of all is the devil. His entire objective is to rob you of your faith. He devotes his time to stealing from you. People often pose the question: Why is it that Muslims find it hard to unite? They struggle to support each other. There's perpetual discord amongst them. However, the corrupt, the nonbelievers, those who spread evil, they seem united. The truth is: They have nothing of value to lose! Since they possess nothing of worth, the devil dismisses them, declaring: "They are already mine." In fact, they are worse than the devil. They tread the devil's path. That's why the devil ignores them. The devil thinks, "They are just as I desire them to be." "They are enemies of the believers and Muslims." "They are on my side, they need not worry." "Our shared enemy is the holders of faith." "We aim to snatch away this precious faith, reducing them to our wretched state." These are the thieves targeting your faith. But there are also exploiters pursuing worldly things: wherever there is something of value, these wicked people exploit it. They eagerly snatch it. They seize these treasures and, in doing so, bring a curse upon the people. Some things end up being a curse. And some things are valuable. It's the valuable that needs safeguarding. In the case of valuable commodities like gold and oil, enemies aren't hard to find. People residing in resource-rich countries suffer oppression worldwide. Their resources are often plundered. Though surrounded by abundant wealth, they live in grinding poverty, with nothing in their hands. Their wealth is stolen by their enemies. However, faith is a treasure far more significant. It requires protection. Faith has countless enemies. The greatest of these is the devil. And of course, our own egos. We must remain steadfast and resilient, never succumbing to the enemmies of faith. It's essential to shield our faith. May Allah safeguard our faith. Allah provides you with His protection when you devote yourself to prayer and follow His path and that of His Prophet. May Allah guard us. We should not be lured by the worldly filth and risk losing the precious faith we hold.

We're now in the sacred month of Sha'ban. May Allah grace it with blessings. This is the month dedicated to our Prophet, peace be upon him. Each month, special days are given to our Prophet by Allah, providing us with opportunities to earn blessings. Indeed, Allah's word and promise are ever true, ever to be fulfilled. In this worldly life, we often see people expecting in return for their promises. But Allah, in His benevolence, gifts us without expecting anything in return. So, draw from what Allah generously provides! Allah proceeds to bestow upon us these gems of life, precious offerings. Yet many people overlook them. They opt instead for worthlessness, refuse, and the damaging and futile. We have been privileged with the greatest gift from Allah. He has honoured us with the privilege of belonging to the esteemed community of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Indeed, there is no gift greater than this. But many fail to appreciate its true worth. Such is the inescapable nature of humankind. For we are prone to the sway of the ego. Our ego often gravitates more towards the wrong rather than the good. This explains the state of the world today. Presently, we live in a world where egos reign unchecked, and even encouraged, to fulfill their whims and desires. Hence, the world is on a trajectory, not towards the good, but constantly slanting towards the negative. If only people esteemed the honour attributed to our beloved Prophet and acknowledged its value, such a state would not exist. Such adverse conditions would not have arisen. Allah is not favourable towards those who fail to appreciate His abundant gifts. Don't be under the false impression that pleasing your ego, rather than following Allah's way, will give you satisfaction or bring you any real benefit. All your pursuits will be futile. Your efforts in this world will only be wasted. And in the afterlife, you will be left empty-handed. So, in these valuable months, let's turn our minds and hearts towards our Prophet more, to remember him, to send blessings upon him. That is a way of attracting immense blessings. This holds true both in this life and in the afterlife. The devotion and reverence we demonstrate in this world returns us peace, blessings, and renders Allah happy with us. Of course, we do observe the conditions prevalent in this world. Injustice has indeed escalated to its zenith. This implies that its downfall is imminent. We must eschew oppression and strive to walk in the path of our Prophet, cultivating his love within our hearts. This love surpasses all other platforms of affection. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, teaches that this love should eclipse even that for our parents and ourselves. May Allah bless everyone with this pure love. May Allah provide guidance to all. People are led astray by their egos. And that's what causes them to go astray. May Allah give them His guidance. For the honour of the month of our Prophet and himself, peace be upon him. May Allah strengthen our faith.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتَهُۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا (33:56) صدق الله العظيم Allah, the Mighty and Supreme, instructs us to give our greetings and blessings to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him salvation. Allah, the Supreme and Mighty, extends his blessings and peace upon the Prophet, as do all the angels. You too should extend blessings and peace towards the Prophet, as commanded by Allah, the Exalted and Mighty. This is a divine command. Without respect and blessings for the Prophet, none of your faith, prayers, or any other actions will be incomplete. If you extend peaceful greetings to our Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him salvation, he will reciprocate, greeting you with peace. When you offer a greeting of peace to the Prophet, Allah will reward you tenfold. When you extend a peaceful greeting to the Prophet, he will surely respond in kind. When you offer the Prophet blessings and peace, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him salvation, will respond by blessing you and giving you peace. The Prophet, peace be upon him, once said: Whoever extends to me a greeting of peace, I will extend the same to them. This is a profound blessing. Its value is not recognized by all. Some believe it insignificant whether or not they offer peaceful greetings. There are those who abdicate their duty to recite blessings upon the Prophet either through ignorance or active decision. This is the worse of the two. Allah may yet forgive those who fail to extend peace to the Prophet out of mere ignorance. Some people are simply too lazy or preoccupied to remember it. Every day, you should pronounce a hundred, two hundred, three hundred blessings on the Prophet. Recite as many blessings as you can. Each day, aim to extend at least one hundred blessings upon the Prophet. That is the least we should do. Now the month of Sha'ban is almost upon us. It is the month dedicated to the Prophet, peace be upon him. During this sacred month, we should double our greetings of peace. If you usually greet the Prophet, peace be upon him, a hundred times a day, aim now for two hundred; if previously you greeted him two hundred times, strive now for four hundred. If you have maintained four hundred blessings, then aim for eight hundred or even a thousand peaceful greetings. There is no harm in it, only benefit. This is truly a treasure. When people hear the word "treasure", they flock seeking it. The real treasure is this. Invoking blessings and greetings upon the Prophet, is a virtue, the rewards of which will accompany you into the hereafter. May Allah place us among those with whom the Prophet, peace be upon him, is pleased. May Allah instill our hearts with love for our Prophet, and may peace and blessings be upon him. It is crucial to love the Prophet, peace be upon him, above all things in this world. It is a commandment of Allah. Love the Prophet, peace be upon him, even more than your mother, your father, even yourself. This is also a command of Allah. May Allah empower us to fulfill this honorable commandment - with His grace.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is warning the ummah to be vigilant and not be deceived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Lā yuldaghu l-mu'minu min juḥrin wāḥidin marratain." This means a believer should not be bitten by a snake from the same hole twice. This refers to those times when one had to be particularly careful not to get bitten by a snake from the same earth hole twice. One must be cautious. This teaching applies to all aspects of life, not just snake bites. Today, we rarely encounter snakes that could bite us. However, there are things more dangerous than snakes. There are shayateen, evil forces. They attempt to take everything from you – your wealth, your property. And many other things. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tells us to remain vigilant. Guard yourself and your possessions. Protect what you have, for it is a gift from Allāh, especially your īmān. Do not let others deceive you and take away your īmān. Stay alert and avoid being deceived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) often spoke of how we inattentively look here and there, in different directions. We have strayed from the right path and taken many different routes. These bring no benefit, only harmful things and teachings. Therefore, you must remain vigilant. It is narrated that a bedouine came to the Prophet's mosque and left his camel outside. After praying, he went out intending to mount his camel and depart. But he could not find it. He searched everywhere and complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "My camel has disappeared. I just left it here." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Where did you leave it? Did you tie it?" The man replied, "No." "I left it here at this holy place. I thought it would remain here. I assumed it would not go anywhere." To this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) responded, "'aqil wa tawakkal." First, take precautions. 'Aqil means to tie it. 'Aqil wa tawakkal - first secure it, then trust in Allāh. Had you tied it and someone took it, you would have had the right to complain. But you ignored what needed to be done, and now you complain. This is your mistake. Yet through the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) mercy, the man found his camel after this incident. Many people are unaware of this part of the story. They only mention the lost camel, but everything in the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) life contains profound lessons for us. Especially this teaching of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): 'aqil, 'aqil wa tawakkal. 'Aqil means to tie. It also means to use your intellect, your mind, your wisdom. 'Aqil comes from the word for intellect. You must use it. Allāh did not create the mind merely for eating and existing. Animals can do that, but they lack the ability to discern between what should and should not be done. Allāh gave them just enough intelligence to eat, drink, and recognize danger. This is what Allāh granted them. But to humans, Allāh gave intelligence to care for themselves and their families. Today, many people are repeatedly deceived by those who mislead them. They promise, "We will do this, we will accomplish that." After taking their money, they do nothing. It becomes their responsibility - whoever possesses something must discern whether it is beneficial or harmful. For this is Allāh's ni'mah, His blessing. He gave you this, so be mindful. Do not allow deceivers and fraudsters to take your wealth. If you are wise, you will not give your money to fraudsters. By withholding this money, you protect the fraudster from consuming ḥarām, from eating ḥarām, and from feeding their family with ḥarām. When they consume ḥarām, they become corrupted, and you share some responsibility because you enabled them to consume ḥarām through your money. This is crucial to understand. The Awliyā'u Llāh and the ṣaḥābah never consumed anything ḥarām. Particularly Imāmu l-A'ẓam Sayyidinā Abu Ḥanīfah never accepted invitations, for example. Though people would invite him, he never dined outside or elsewhere. He would not even accept gifts. Such was their way. Many would insist, swearing, "This is not ḥarām, this is completely ḥalāl, please partake of this." Never. He would not eat. Many of the Awliyā'u Llāh and ulamā' were extremely careful not to consume even a morsel because they didn't want to risk consuming anything questionable or ḥarām. One of them, upon learning the source of food he had eaten, began vomiting, saying, "What is this? Where did this come from?" He had assumed it was from his home. They told him, "Someone sent this for you." No, even his body would reject anything questionable. This emphasizes the importance of providing pure, clean sustenance for our children. If people deceive others and rejoice, saying "We fooled someone today, we took a thousand pounds from them," and then buy kebab, burgers, and various foods for their household. But this is not nourishment. This is poison. Would anyone deliberately feed poison to their children? Not poison - they wouldn't even serve spoiled food to their children. This is why from the beginning of this ṣuḥbah we emphasized being wise and using your intellect. Not everything you acquire benefits you. Many things are poisonous to you. They will destroy you, they will harm you. This is Allāh's law. Why does Allāh say "Kulū ḥalālan ṭayyiban" - eat what is ḥalāl and pure? Ḥalāl gives you strength, health, and happiness. Ḥarām does the opposite - it brings illness, sadness, and every misfortune to you and your family. Afterward, you will regret and wonder what happened to these children, what happened to my family, why they are miserable and troubled. We question life itself. Do not wonder. Simply do what is right and you will be safe, in shā'a Llāh. Nothing more. Of course, Allāh forgives what we do unknowingly. But if you persist knowing something is ḥarām, be cautious. Be mindful and distribute what you received unknowingly, for we have another realm where nothing remains hidden. Everything will be revealed openly on the Day of Resurrection, and people will witness what each man or woman has done. The angels will declare to these people by Allāh's command. "This person deceived you, stole from you, wronged you." "But I thought this person was my friend, I believed they were righteous." No, they will say this is what they did to you, so you have the right to take from their good deeds. Such is the nature of this world. In this life, while alive, one can save themselves by seeking forgiveness from those they cheated and wronged. If this is left for the ākhirah, it becomes a grave matter. As mentioned, everything will be exposed there. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaks of people who will come with good deeds as vast as mountains, but then others will come forward saying they were wronged, and their good deeds will be given away as compensation. More will come, and more. One after another. Until all these mountain-like good deeds are depleted. Yet still there remain many in line whom they cheated, whose money they took without their knowledge. With no good deeds remaining, what happens? They are bankrupt. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says the sins of those they wronged will be placed upon them. This becomes their deficit. One after another, until they are laden with sins, and then they receive what they deserve. For they thought they were only gaining and were pleased. But in the ākhirah, nothing remains. We are not without justice. Justice prevails, with each receiving their due before proceeding to their destination. Therefore we say, be careful not to make these people suffer in the ākhirah. This matters more than what you might lose. Show mercy to these people. Do not let them follow their ego's desires or shaytan's commands. Shaytan only guides them toward hellfire. A Muslim must show mercy to their Muslim brother, offer sincere advice. If advice is not heeded, warn others to be cautious of such a person. They harm themselves before harming others. So be vigilant, prevent them from harming themselves. In Istanbul, there is a great bridge over the Bosphorus. People sometimes come there intending to jump. You see police and crowds of 100 or 200 people blocking traffic, causing severe congestion. What causes this? Someone wanting to end their life. But people strive to save them. This illustrates why we must be mindful of preventing people from harming themselves. Be vigilant, for shaytan now teaches people to act recklessly, without fear. Such people are increasing in number, showing no fear. You must prevent them from harming both you and themselves. This too is an Islamic obligation. When ḥarām proliferates in society, its effects touch everyone. Therefore, we must be vigilant. It's not enough to say, "We are Muslim, we are merciful, we can let it be." No. We must inform people, even if problems persist despite our warnings. But Allāh sees everything; nothing can remain hidden. This is why Allāh grants the believer light through their good and ḥalāl actions. Without this, there is no light. Darkness and evil prevail. May Allāh protect us from such people and grant guidance to all. For faith diminishes, and people increasingly fail to distinguish between ḥarām and ḥalāl. Even among those who pray, this is crucial regarding inheritance. Allāh shows in the Quran and hadith that you must give everyone their rightful share when someone passes. They say al-mu'taq, al-mīrāth ḥalāl. Inheritance must be ḥalāl for everyone. This too is essential. It's not only about those who deceive you. If you have inheritors in your family, you must act with justice. When finished, everyone should express their satisfaction to others. We should all seek contentment for each other. Seeking forgiveness for any discrepancies, to ensure blessings for all. Without this, it becomes a curse and brings no good. Many times with Mawlana Shaykh, I observed people seeking what they couldn't have, what wasn't right for them, and Mawlana would remind them, "Your health is more valuable than anything." Once, the wealthiest person in a country - Mawlana often told her story - she complained about her father-in-law leaving money to others, to that woman, to this boy, millions. Mawlana Shaykh would say, "Your health is more precious." I witnessed this many times. She kept complaining. After a year, Subhanallah, she developed cancer. She passed away six months later. This too was karama for Mawlana. She was, alhamdulillah, rahmatullah alayha, a virtuous lady. But when money is involved, anyone - man or woman - can give their wealth to whomever they choose. This is permissible. Just or unjust, it's allowed, not ḥarām. But afterward, when you demand from this, especially under Roman law, nothing can be reclaimed from you. No law or internet can help them take it back. But when they take this, they take from rightful owners. They steal it, or take it by force. This will not benefit you. I've witnessed many such cases with Mawlana. Even when Muslims, murids acquire wealth, they forget Allāh, forget Sharia, forget the Prophet. They say, "This is our country's law." "If they don't accept this, we can go to court and take it quickly." This is wrong. Moreover, some who receive inheritance withhold it from their siblings. This too is ḥarām. They take others' rights, making it ḥarām. What they consume becomes poison. So as we said from the start of this ṣuḥbah, use your mind. Be wise, avoid foolishness. Don't be ignorant. Those who act thus are foolish and ignorant. May Allāh protect us from ignorance, insha Allah.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, described believers as those who support each other and build a solid building. Always advocating for unity within the Muslim community, the Prophet, peace be upon him, vehemently opposed any form of division. This unity is indeed commanded by Allah himself. Unfortunately, in this day and age, the devil has successfully managed to breed discord among Muslims. He has led to a widespread sense of alienation within the community. The prevailing state of the world is a direct result of this unfortunate development. Many folks, rather than seeking unity, are consumed by strife and are blinded by the ensuing chaos. The issue has further intensified and appears more pronounced today than ever before. Of course, conflicts have always existed. Even in the immediate aftermath of the Prophet's time, there were forces at play looking to dismantle Islam. But Allah, the Almighty and Supremely Powerful, will ensure the enduring presence of this light. وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ (61:8) Despite the disdain of the non-believers, Allah will continue to carry this light forward. This radiant light is under the guardianship of Allah, the Almighty. When Allah chooses to aid a person, no force can stand in his way. But at times, we are subjected to certain trials and tribulations. Everything has its destined time. When the time comes, their malice will run its course. They may presume control over the world, but in a single instance, Allah can eradicate and dispel everything they have constructed. He will leave no trace of their endeavors. Nothing shall persist but the undeniable truth. For this reason, it’s essential for us, as Muslims, to show patience and support for our brothers and sisters to the best of our abilities. This includes material support, provided it is within our means. However, for many, this is not always feasible. Prayers, nonetheless, remain a potent instrument at our disposal. Indeed, prayer is the armament of the believer, the weapon of a Muslim. Let us offer prayers for Allah's help and protection. The world is riddled with wars. Countless people are losing their lives each day. Yet, no one seems to take action. Oppression is rampant the world over. Muslims are being butchered, executed, and killed indiscriminately. No one appears to show any concern. Non-believers are indifferent. Hypocrites too, don’t seem to worry. However, when they find themselves in trouble, pandemonium ensues. But when suffering befalls Muslims, no one bats an eye. But that's hardly relevant. Allah will reward the hardships endured by Muslims. The rewards are firmly secured with Him. The honour set to be granted to Muslims due to their trials and tribulations is immeasurable. May Allah stand by our side. We implore Allah to assist our Muslim brothers and sisters. The level of oppression in the world has reached its tipping point. This pinnacle signals that the end of tyranny is imminent. May we live to witness the victorious days that Allah brings. May Allah make us be with Mahdi alayhissalam.
