Allah the Exalted and Exalted says: "O believers, eat the good things. Do not follow the traces of the devil, says Allah. Praise be to Allah! Allah has given us every kind of blessing. For everything there is Halal and Haram. Allah, the Exalted, says eat what is Halal. It will be good for you, it will be a remedy for you. Eat Halal. Do not chase after the devil. The devil does not strive for your good, but for your harm. Therefore, Allah the Exalted says that we must pay attention to what we eat. In these times, in which we are living now, people have a lot to eat, they do not care about what they eat. Most people do not care about Halal and Haram. Hence, diseases are increasing. Diseases arise when you fill your stomach with Haram. Allah the Exalted has created everything in opposites. Lawful, unlawful. A piece of Halal, a piece of Haram. Good food, bad food. There is the lawful and the unlawful. Both exist. A person should eat the good, eat the lawful. He should not approach the unlawful. There is no need for rudeness. Now they are doing various things to deceive people. They mix different substances in the food, so that when people eat it, they want it permanently. These added substances are harmful. There are very harmful substances. Instead of salt, they add another substance to make it taste more. People no longer have taste on their tongues, in their mouths. They eat without understanding whether it is sweet, delicious or tasteless. The added substances harm their bodies. Both the mind and the body suffer from it. That's why Allah the Exalted says: "Eat Halal, the clean, the good". Keep away from Haram. There is no benefit in the unlawful. It does not benefit your body in any way. It is harmful. May Allah protect us from it. May Allah protect us from the harm and deception of people. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim always preferred food that is prepared at home. Even if it is not much, it is enough. It strengthens the body. It also strengthens faith. With haram food, the body gets sick. With haram food, the spirit will not benefit. There is no benefit for the soul in the unlawful. We have to be careful. The body is a pledge. Allah the Exalted has given us the body as a pledge and says that we should take good care of the body and keep it well, so that we can fulfill our duties. We have to take care of our body, so that it can accompany us till the end. Your body should not be a burden for you, your body should carry you. May Allah protect all of us. May Allah grant us a long life. May what we eat mean health and well-being for us. May Allah protect us from the bites eaten unintentionally. May Allah forgive us.

We thank Allah that we may belong to the people of Prophet Abraham and the community of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them. There were many nations in the Ottoman Empire. There were seventy two nations. In the Ottoman Empire, there was Islam. There was no nationalism. The Ottomans didn't want nationalism. Islam is the unity. Islam commands the unity. Islam forbids division. For this reason, the Ottoman Empire promoted unity by saying: "We all belong to the people of Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him." We all are part of the community of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Nothing else is needed. The religion of Abraham, peace be upon him, is the Hanif religion, the religion of the One God. This religion is the religion of the forefathers and grandparents of our Prophet, peace be upon him. People there later changed this religion. They began to practice idolatry. When revered Abraham, peace be upon him, left his son, Ismael, in Mecca, he prayed: Oh Allah, make this place a city of safety. Shield me and my children from worshipping statues! ءَامِنًۭا وَٱجْنُبْنِى وَبَنِىَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ ٱلْأَصْنَامَ (14:35) This prayer applies to the entire community of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. From Abraham, peace be upon him, through our Prophet to the day of Judgement, there should be no idol worship. Idols bring no benefit. There are physical idols and spiritual idols. All idols, especially physical idols should be avoided. To give them respect or importance, does not benefit people, but harms them. The idol worship will continue until the day of judgement. Many years ago, we were in India. We walked through a street and saw people there hitting stone. Clack-clack! Clack-clack! What is that? They're making idols and statues for worship. One can only wonder in astonishment what they are doing. This is something that will continue until the day of judgement. May Allah protect us from it. It is not good to have formative things in the house, one should avoid them. They take away the blessing, angels do not enter the house. Where angels do not enter, demons and jinn enters. One must be careful. Many people complain about it. May Allah protect us from it. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said, as we recited in the Hutba: بُغِضَتْ إِلَيَّ الأَصْنَامُ "I detest idols," says our revered Prophet, peace be upon him. When he went to Damascus, the monk Bahira there recognized all the signs of our Prophet and saw them in him. The Quraish had two big idols named Lat and Uzza. The monk swore by them, as was the custom with them at that time. Our Prophet did not like this at all. "These are the things I hate the most," said our honored Prophet. Then the monk Bahira, Allah be pleased with him, realized that our revered Prophet was indeed the promised Prophet. In this way, the sign that the announced Prophet detests idols and the like was confirmed. May Allah save people from such things. People fall, knowingly or unknowingly, most often unknowingly, into this mistake. A wise man would never do such things. People who are not smart enough say, "There's nothing wrong with it" and put figures in their house. These are unnecessary and harmful things, one should avoid them. May Allah protect us from it.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍۢ (68:4) صدق الله العظيم Allah describes the attributes of the Prophet, peace be upon him. He identifies him as the most perfect of all humans. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had the noblest character. His path is the way for all of humanity, not just Muslims. Allah has sent him for all people. His way is a way of light. Those who follow his way will attain all blessings. Following his way is a gift. It leads to every blessing. The greatest blessing is to drink from the water of al-Kawthar in the hereafter. Whoever drinks from this water will be freed from all evil. There will be no doubts, no bad thoughts. He fears no one, holds no grudges against anyone. He will bring no enmity to anyone. In paradise, there is nothing like what is in this world. From these negative characteristics, one is cleansed by drinking the water from al-Kawthar. After cleansing at al-Kawthar, a person has no negative attributes left, and therefore you find no bad things in paradise. In this world, there is evil as a test. But in Paradise, there's nothing like that, only in hell is there evil in abundance. The path of the Prophet is the true way; the good way is his path. He is a gift from Allah to the people. The Prophet, peace be upon him, is a blessing from Allah. And we thank Allah that we belong to his community. That is an even greater blessing for us. These holidays were given to his community in his honor. With these holidays comes both material and spiritual gifts. For this we thank Allah. Bless our festivals. The festival of the fasting person is celebrated both at the breaking of the fast, the Iftar, and in Paradise. The first festival has already taken place. O Allah, may we also reach the second, the great festival, by drinking from al-Kawthar. O Allah, may it be bestowed upon all of us.

May our Ramadan Festival, Eid al-Fitr, be blessed. This festival is the gift that Allah has given to us, the community of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Holidays are fundamentally of spiritual significance and value. On the last day of Ramadan, Allah gives the fasting people the spiritual document of Ramadan with the last iftar. Allah gives Muslims a spiritual document that their fasting and prayers performed in Ramadan were accepted. The granting of this document is a festival at which those who have fasted and prayed throughout Ramadan are honored. This is the real holiday. This document is a gift for the afterlife and it is its receipt that we celebrate. This is the highest honor for man. The granting of this award is a festival. Without a spiritual meaning, a festival has no utility. It would be nothing but evil. People have invented all sorts of festivals according to their own whims, be it this festival or that festival. They present their invented celebrations to others as "our national holiday" or "our tradition". All this has no value, because it lacks the spiritual element. No special quality has been given to them by Allah. The festival that has been given a special quality is the Ramadan festival and the Sacrifice Festival, Eid al-Adha. The Sacrifice Festival in turn has a special status with special blessing. And the Ramadan Festival is very special in its own way. On each occasion, Allah gives people His gifts so that they can benefit. On festival days, the joy of living the festival, visiting each other, is also considered meritorious. When believers visit each other, a reward is written for each step. Sins are erased, merits are written, the rank rises. Even if people do not pray, they visit each other on these occasions. This benefits people at least a little. There is no benefit to other festivals invented by people. Instead of benefits, they bring a lot of damage. One must be on the path of Allah. He who is on the path of Allah wins. He finds peace, it brings blessings. And he secures his eternal salvation. In the past, even those who did not hold regular prayer prayed at least from one festival to the next. Now there may not even be that. May Allah guide them. Even this brings some benefit to people. May Allah guide people. May they also experience this beauty, may it also be bestowed on them. A believing person wishes others well. A believer is not envious of others. Whoever is envious is not a believer. There is no faith in his heart. A person who does not want others to benefit, a Muslim who does not wish good to other Muslims, is not a believer. Their faith is not perfect. Therefore, we wish good for all of humanity. We seek the gifts of Allah and the favor of the Prophet, peace be upon him. May our festival be blessed. And may we get to experience many more blessed festivals. May all people be in Islam so that they can benefit from these beautiful things.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, says: بهم تمطرون بهم ترزقون بهم تنصرون These are the Abdâl. They are the greatest among the saints; through them, Allah provides for you. Through them, Allah provides rain and victory, so says the Prophet, peace be upon him. Thanks be to Allah, today it has rained due to their blessings. It's been awhile. There was no precipitation here. This year there was a slight drought. Yet still, Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, through the blessings of this Ramadan and the prayers of the believers here, made this rainfall happen as acceptance of our Ramadan. The performed prayers and the acts of goodness were accepted by Allah. Allah will reward us for it in both this world and the Hereafter. Compared to what we will receive in the Hereafter, everything in this world is meaningless. Nothing in this world is worth even a speck of dust compared to the Hereafter. The rewards of the Hereafter are like dust compared to those of the world. The most important thing is the Hereafter. The rain at this time is a blessing, both for the body and the spirit. Rain is of great benefit to a believing person with spirituality who follows the commands and instructions of Allah, the Exalted and Mighty. Whoever doesn't believe is at fault: فَمَن شَآءَ فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَآءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ (18:29) This is what Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, says. صدق الله العظيم Whoever wills may believe, and whoever wills may disbelieve. Believer, non-believer, atheist or whatever: they can all be whatever they want. Some ask why the gifts of Allah in this world are bestowed on the unbelievers too. Because the things of this world are worthless. This world has no value. This world is not even worth a drop of water. The whole world is worth less than the beating of a mosquito's wing. What is the value of a mosquito's wing beat? The mosquito is a test from Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, for mankind. It is even an act of kindness to kill it. For they are harmful. The example of the mosquito is to show that this world is worthless. That is, nothing valuable is given to the unbeliever. Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, ensures that the believers benefit in both this world and the Hereafter. The believer benefits. The unbeliever does not. The unbeliever harms himself. May Allah make this Ramadan blessed. May Allah accept our worship in this month and may Ramadan bring blessings to all of us. May Allah allow us to experience many years, many Ramadans. May next year be even more beautiful. How can it be more beautiful? With Mehdi, peace be upon him. When the entire world is fasting. When the entire world is worshiping Allah. The promise and word of Allah is truthful. The word of Allah will come to pass. May it happen soon. We pray and hope for that. May Allah bless it.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ (14:34) صدق الله العظيم With these beautiful words, Allah shows us that we can never fully count his blessings, no matter how hard we try. In the past, people made their calculations with pen and paper. Today, people use computers for their calculations. Even these would never be able to fully count Allah's gifts. People, creatures cannot fully comprehend the countless gifts that Allah has bestowed upon them. People cannot provide an appropriate return for the gifts given to them by Allah. Allah gives his gifts without reservation and expects nothing in return. Allah bestows his gifts for your benefit without self-interest. Whoever rejects these gifts harms themselves. They harm themselves. People often reject the gifts that are given to them. Do you expect good when you reject the good? This only leads to bad thing. Then the bad luck comes. Every breath is a magnificent gift from Allah. Each sip of water and every movement are great gifts. People neither appreciate these gifts nor give thanks for them. They have not only become ungrateful but have also stopped showing gratitude. They rebel and behave rebelliously. They rise against Allah. Man sees himself as something great. He assigns himself great importance. He is arrogant. Arrogance is one of the worst traits. There is no reason for arrogance. Arrogance towards Allah is the worst thing a person can do. Because whoever is arrogant towards Allah is also arrogant towards others. Then their arrogance becomes apparent to Allah as well. He does not appreciate Allah's gifts. Whoever does not appreciate a gift risks losing it. May Allah protect us. We should thank Allah for the gifts He has given us. Through gratitude, the gifts increase, the presents increase. People have become accustomed to something: They have become accustomed to constantly complaining and no longer recognizing the good. They have become blind to the gifts. They are only fixated on what they can gain. When we speak of a gift, they react with 'What is that supposed to be?' or 'What is that?' They belittle the gift by disparagingly remarking 'What is that, that's nothing.' They always expect more. Regardless of what it is, even if it's just a small thing, we should recognize, 'That's a great gift', be thankful and say 'We praise Allah'. We should say that we are grateful to Allah. May Allah make us ones who are thankful. May He make us those who show appreciation.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ (50:19) Allah the Almighty says in the Quran, when the intoxication of death reaches a man, he becomes confused. He always tried to elude it. But there is no place to which he can flee. It is something that will happen to everyone, it is the truth. The greatest truth is death. One should prepare for this event. The greatest preparation is to not delay your prayers and religious duties to the afterlife. Accountability in the afterlife is severe. For every missed prayer, you must pray for 80 years according to worldly calculation. Before death comes, a man, a Muslim, should not neglect the duties. He should be aware of that. He should try to make up for everything he has missed in prayers and fasting. Of course, one cannot make up for everything. One should do as much as one can. For the rest, Allah grants according to man's intention. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, if a man borrows money from someone and he intends to repay the money, then Allah will facilitate him in settling the debt. But if he thinks 'I will borrow this money and then I will either repay it or not', then the debt is not settled. The same applies here. It's the same with prayer. If you say 'I will pray, I will make up for the missed', then you will do that. If you are a truly sincere person and try to make up for the missed prayers and die before you manage to, then Allah will forgive you according to your intention. Death is an unavoidable truth for us all. The Arabs have a saying about prayer. When something happens to a person, they say: جاكل الموت يا طريق الصلاة Oh, man who has neglected prayer, death has come! There is no substitute for missed prayer. The man is lost. When something somber happens , this proverb is used. This proverb is used in various contexts and meanings. The true meaning is to stress not going to the afterlife with prayer debts. Missed prayers are the most dangerous. May Allah spare us. May Allah guide people. May they recognize the value of important things. And may they not look at the unimportant things.

Our Prophet, peace be upon him, says that whoever intentionally alters my words or claims that I said something I did not say, should prepare their place in hell. The blessed words of the Prophet, peace be upon Him, are full of wisdom. They were spoken on Allah's command. It is not right to claim things that our Prophet did not say and present these to people. There is no wisdom in you, absolutely nothing. What you're doing is a lie. The punishment for such a lie, especially regarding our Prophet, peace be upon him, is even greater. Nowadays, there are people who make claims about the blessed days and nights during Ramadan. For example, things were spread about the Laylat al-Qadr. “If you do this and that, you will no longer have any missed prayers to perform,” they say. We have been hearing such claims for several years. Today, we have to tell people about this so they don't believe it's true and act accordingly. We warn them so that they don't act accordingly. They claim there would be a Kaffarah prayer that supposedly replaces all prayers that one has not prayed. They describe that if one performs this prayer consisting of four Rak'at during the Laylat al-Qadr, one would have no more missed prayers. The way they describe the prayer has nothing to do with the correct prayer. Such a prayer has never been heard of before. It is supposed to replace all your missed prayers. You would no longer need to make up any missed prayer. They even speak of a compensation for hundreds of years of prayers. There is no such thing. Whoever claims that our Prophet, peace be upon him, said this, has made a grave mistake. He must repent and ask Allah for forgiveness. It is even worse. They use the name and image of Sheikh Nazim to deceive people. That is a second sin, a second defamation. They lie and also misuse the name of Sheikh Efendi for their lies. Some people came and said that they were deceived for years. They reported about people who say, “We are the representatives of the Sheikh; we are this, we are that, you should do this, you have to do that, you should serve like this.” These people also say, “It is forbidden for you to go to the Sheikh.” "Only I need to meet the Sheikh," they say. There were people like this also back in the days of Sheikh Nazim. Some so-called representatives claimed that it was not necessary to go to the Sheikh, it was not necessary, it was not allowed. Even though the opportunity existed, they kept these people from meeting Sheikh Efendi for years. There is a punishment for that. If these people claim their rights in the hereafter, they cannot make up for it. Tariqa and Sharia are one. There is no difference between them. They deceive people by telling them, "I have special knowledge." The people – may Allah help them – who want to follow Allah's path with a pure heart, are deceived by such people. Those who deceive, believe they gain an advantage. But they commit a great sin and violate the rights of many people. They not only commit sins, but also violate the rights of other people. This is even worse. Sheikh Nazim never said that missed prayers should not be made up. Sheikh Efendi always said: Pray as much as you can. Praise be to Allah, our prayers every day, along with the Sunna and Nafila prayers, almost reach a hundred Rak'at. Sheikh Efendi said, as is also mentioned in a Hadith, that on the Day of Judgment a person's prayers will be examined. If he has not prayed, it will be asked if he made up for the prayer, and he answers yes. They check and see that he did. Then everything is okay. Another one is asked if he made up for the prayer, and he answers: more or less. Then they look at this person's Sunna prayers. Are these Sunna prayers sufficient to replace the missing prayers? If so, then that is also okay. If the Sunna prayers are not sufficient, they look at the Nafila prayers. Whatever Nafila prayers there are, they are then used to make up for this person's missed prayers. No one is allowed to say, “You do not need to pray, you do not need to make up. Just pray the "Kaffarah prayer" once. It compensates for missed prayers of five hundred thousand years. Whoever says this - and especially if they say it is the words of our Prophet - is lying. There are some Hadiths which were added later and are not recognized as Hadiths. These are referred to as "mawdu‘" Hadiths, i.e. later added, non-authentic Hadiths. How do we know if a Hadith is authentic or not? Our Prophet, peace be upon him, says we should look at our heart. If it agrees with the Sharia, the commandments brought by the Prophet, peace be upon him, then it is authentic. But the Hadith we are discussing right now does not match at all. It is not acceptable at all. We have never heard such a thing from our Sheikhs. Do not believe that this Hadith is true. There are fatwas everywhere on the internet, wherever you look. There are fatwas everywhere, everyone gives as many fatwas as they want. There are many people who pretend to be scholars. And the people believe them and execute what they say without asking. But you can ask a righteous person, an imam or scholar for advice. Don't just follow any judgments. The sin for this will be great. It will be difficult to make up for this. That's why we need to be careful. And we especially need to be careful when it comes to prayer. Fard is Fard. If one does not perform an obligation, it cannot be compensated for even if one performs voluntary worship for one's whole life. This applies even to a single neglected obligation. Imagine how much you can lose through false judgments. Therefore, we must be careful. May Allah protect us, may Allah preserve us. May Allah preserve our faith.

Praise be to Allah. Tonight, Allah willing, is Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Power. The Night of Power usually falls on the 27th of Ramadan. Laylat al-Qadr has its own special Surah. The Surah "al-Qadr". إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ (97:1) Almighty Allah says, the Holy Quran was revealed on this night. This night is a blessed night. This sacred Night of Power can occur on any night of the year. Almighty Allah has hidden this night in his wisdom. The blessing of this night is as great as a whole life. A thousand months mean roughly a lifetime. About eighty years is a human lifespan. That night is, by Allah's wisdom, more precious than a thousand months. This is a great gift for mankind from Almighty Allah. This is a special gift for the nation of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Previously, there was no Laylat al-Qadr. This night is solely in honour of the Prophet. Since the Quran was revealed to the Prophet on this night, this night is dedicated solely to the Prophet. The Prophet says, Laylat al-Qadr can occur on any night. So the Night of Power could also happen outside of Ramadan. That's why people should always be eager. Just as one performs one's devotion on the Night of Power, one should perform it on other nights as well. With Allah's permission, you will then come across that night. Then you will experience Laylat al-Qadr. For if you do not waste any night but spend every night in worship, you will come across Laylat al-Qadr on one of the nights of the year. That way, you receive the blessing of Laylat al-Qadr. May Allah bring us his blessing. On this beautiful night. Sometimes people have done nothing but sin and evil all their lives. But in one night or in one hour, that can be changed by repentance, and the whole life turns into good, into beautiful. This is another good news for the nation of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Anyone who honors the Prophet, believes in him and follows his ways, after repentance, all sins will be turned into good deeds. That is, they will be converted into rewards. This is good news for the nation of the Prophet, peace be upon him. In every moment, Almighty Allah invites us to receive his beautiful gifts. But unfortunately, people do not listen. If there is something cheap somewhere for two pennies, they run there. They do not accept or pay attention to the real gifts that Almighty Allah gives. Or they ignore them. Then they regret it. But this regret often comes too late. May this night be blessed. The Prophet says, you should pray at night. You should pray every night. On Laylat al-Qadr you should particularly say this prayer: وَالْمُعَافَاةَ تَدَائِمَه فِي الدِّينِ وَالدُّنْيَا وَالاَّخِرَةَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنَّا May Allah forgive us. And preserve us in health. Health is important for people, for the Muslim. The Prophet, peace be upon him, says that we should pray in our prayers for Allah not to lead us into trial. When we pray for this, this prayer is answered, and things become easier for us: doing good, performing our prayers, all of this becomes easier for us. May Allah accept these beautiful prayers. Allah does not reject prayers. May Allah bless this night, all our nights.

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ (6:91) صدق الله العظيم Allah says in the Quran: Say 'Allah' and let the others continue with their games. It is important not to follow them; Not to be in communion with those who do not say 'Allah'. For this life is a game. No matter how seriously they take it, no matter how important they hold their actions, it is nothing more than a game. Those who spend their lives in games and pleasures without mentioning Allah, are worthless. They have done nothing of value. Allah does what He wills. No one can do anything out of themselves. Without the will of Allah this would not be possible. Because the time we live in now is the end time, all sciences have been revealed. People arrogantly say "we have discovered this, we have found that" and forget Allah. They don't mention Allah. Allah commands: “Say: Allah”. Whoever says 'Allah' is the winner. With this game, this entertainment, these worldly ambitions, you can never achieve anything, none of it is useful. Without saying 'Allah', this world is empty. A believer, even if he has nothing, but when he says 'Allah', Allah will show him mercy, honor him and bless him in the Hereafter. And he will find peace and tranquility in this world. These are the valuable things. That is Allah’s command. Allah says, “Speak: Allah!” قُلِ ٱللَّهُ That means it is His command. We always have to say 'Allah'. We should never forget to remember Allah. May we always have Allah on our lips, always remember Him.
