Allah commands: You enjoin the good on others, yet you forget yourselves.
When we give advice, we should first teach ourselves.
We should first follow the advice we give.
Only then should we urge others to do the same.
Otherwise, we are unworthy in the Divine Presence.
You command the good, you command the beautiful, but none of it is found in you.
Inside you is the opposite of what you say.
You do not keep a single one of your words.
This condition is widespread among the scholars of the end times, as our Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, has reported.
There are many people who talk a lot, who are talkative.
Their presentation is diverse.
But there are no actions.
There is no goodness; there is nothing.
Their words and the absence of corresponding actions are evidence against them.
They will be held accountable: "You said these words, but you did not implement them."
"You even did the opposite of what you said."
Their punishment will be harsher than that of an ordinary person.
Many of today's scholars not only preach inaction but also misrepresent things and spread falsehoods as if they were part of the religion.
What they say will be used against them.
If they do not repent, they will have to pay for it.
They will also pay for it in this world.
A person who sacrifices the Hereafter for this world will not be successful in this world nor in the Hereafter.
A person or a scholar who thinks they are clever by exploiting their position to make a profit is not a wise person.
Allah has given them opportunities.
If they misuse this opportunity, then everything will go wrong, just the opposite will happen.
They will destroy their actions and themselves.
Before we demand anything from others, we should first demand it from ourselves.
Teach yourself before you teach others.
It's a big mistake to teach others while you yourself abide by none of it.
This wrongdoing can be rectified.
If one repents and asks Allah for forgiveness, it can be rectified.
But if one insists on it, then it's a greater mistake.
May Allah protect us from the evil of our egos.
May Allah not let us deviate from the right path.

يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ
(25:28-29)

Allah describes in the Holy Qur'an, the regret of people in the hereafter.
Most people will regret: "If only I had not taken that person as a friend."
"This friend brought me misfortune."
"He did me harm."
"I wish I hadn't been with him."
"He led me astray!"
In today's time, bad friends and bad people are stronger in leading astray than the devil himself.
People think about others, that they are something special and engage in relationships with them.
While then following them, they themselves stray further and further from the right path.
Where does this happen?
Mainly in schools, universities, etc.
People look up to others and think, "These are better people than us, they know the way better. We should follow their path."
"They lead a better life than us," they say and are dazzled until they finally stray from the right path.
In the end, they follow their path.
If Allah does not save them, they follow them all the way to hell.
In hell, they will regret: "If only I hadn't befriended that guy!"
But then there's no more "if only."
Life comes only once.
Once you close your eyes, there's no going back.
As long as your eyes are open, open them wide.
Learn to distinguish the good from the bad.
He is a human being, just as you are.
He doesn't have four legs, you don't have five ears.
He is also a human being like you.
Allah has given you a mind, He has given him a mind.
Don't run after him.
The camel, for instance, says:
"There's something that annoys me greatly."
"When we set off as a caravan, there's something I can't stand."
In the past, people traveled in caravans, and in a caravan, everyone follows the other, link by link. The donkeys have a place right at the front.
The camel says: "It really bothers me that I have to run after the donkey."
The camel is smarter than some people.
People just run after: the donkey, the fool, the jester.
That doesn't bother people at all.
But in the end, they will regret it because they have strayed from the path.
Look at who you are following.
Who are you following?
Is he good or bad?
What does he teach, what does he say?
You must consider, what does this guy offer you more than you yourself.
If he speaks the truth, follow him.
But if he says strange and absurd things, keep your distance from him.
This applies everywhere.
Some people may not lead you to hell, but have you constantly do pointless and useless things.
Others, however, lead you directly to hell.
And then there are those who lift you up and show you better and more beautiful paths.
Follow them!
May Allah protect us from bad friends and bad people!
May Allah give us insight to keep us away from bad people.
In the end times, there are many who can lead you astray.
One must be very careful.
May Allah guard us.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ
(20:99)
صدق الله العظيم
Through revelations of the Holy Qur'an, Allah informs the Prophet, peace be upon him, about people and events of past times.
We give news about them, says Allah.
Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has not studied or learned anything anywhere.
He was directly taught and informed by Allah.
Allah taught our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and informed him about events, prophets, and their people.
This knowledge was placed into his heart.
As a teaching to people, Allah tells us through the Prophet about the lives of people of the past.
Many virtuous people have come and gone.
After our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, many believers, Muslims, have come into this world and gone again.
Regarding what they have done, we don't really know much, but rather little.
Only very little of it has reached us, but this little bit is still a great example for us.
Through their blessing and the grace of Allah, even the few pieces of information we have about them are valuable lessons and insights for us.
Remembering them and visiting them is beneficial.
When we remember them, Allah sends us His mercy.
عند ذكر الصالحين تنزل الرحمة
When the righteous are mentioned, Allah has mercy on one and sends grace into the gathering.
Mentioning good people brings their blessings and Allah's mercy upon us.
In the blessed month of Ramadan and during the entire holy three months in general, there are wonderful traditions.
People visit the graves of saints and sultans.
Every visit brings mercy.
Visiting the saints leads to goodness.
When we visit them, Allah grants us a portion of the mercy He bestows upon them.
Allah continuously showers mercy that does not cease upon their graves.
Therefore, it is beneficial for a person to go there.
There are some people who claim they are Muslims, but they lack understanding.
"Going to the graves of saints is shirk (polytheism)!" they say.
Why is that shirk?
We remember Allah there, we remember the afterlife, we remember death.
We remember the good deeds of these people.
No more and no less.
We do not go there to worship them.
We do nothing like that.
The Qur'an is recited there, the Fatihas are spoken.
This leads to goodness.
The lives of the saints serve as an example.
The light of Allah comes upon their graves.
Until the Day of Judgement, the light of Allah comes down upon them.
May this light befall us all.
May Allah exalt the station of the saints.

Our revered Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, says that he who hosts an Iftar also receives the reward of those who break their fast with him.
Whoever invites to break the fast is offering a meal.
If one is not able to offer a meal, our revered Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, says that even offering half a date as a meal to break the fast counts, and the hostgets the reward of the person breaking their fast with that half date.
The reward of the fasting person is not diminished by this.
The reward remains the same.
The person who hosts an Iftar gets both the reward of the Iftar and the fasting reward of the fasting person. Meanwhile, the reward of the fasting person does not decrease.
Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, grants people the same reward.
People who do not believe in Allah fear that when they give something, it decreases on their side and increases on the other’s.
That's why there is constant envy, competition, resentment.
With Allah, there is no such thing.
Everything is in the hands of Allah.
Allah gives without fear.
Even when people are very wealthy, they still give fearfully; they are afraid.
Some people are so wealthy that even if they would spend for a thousand years, their wealth would not end; yet, they find it hard to give.
May Allah protect us.
Therefore, the path of Islam, the blessed way of our revered Prophet, is a path of beauty for people.
In this month, in the month of Ramadan, everything is even much more beautiful.
May Allah bless it for you all.

وَتَحْسَبُونَهُۥ هَيِّنًۭا وَهُوَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَظِيمٌۭ
(24:15)
Allah declares in the Holy Quran that what you consider unimportant is of great significance to Allah.
It can be either something good or something bad.
If it is good, we should continue it.
What is good?
That which Allah commands us, the Sunnah of our Prophet, the actions of the saints.
Even if people don't give them importance, Allah does.
The most important thing is what Allah wants.
What counts is what Allah gives us and grants us.
Everything else is redundant.
Whether it is appreciated or not, does not matter.
It has become fashionable to align everything with what others think of one.
We live in a time where perceptions about everything have become inverted.
In the past, people who did unacceptable things for recognition were not well-regarded, today everyone tries to be like them.
Such things are not good.
Things that Allah does not love are bad.
Those are useless things.
You consider them small and insignificant, but they are dangerous because they are not good.
Allah is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
He forgives even that.
Allah forgives everything.
Recently, a brother's child asked whether Allah would forgive us.
In so many places in the Quran, it is stated that Allah is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
So do not doubt it.
Ask Allah for forgiveness for your deeds.
He will forgive, whether you did it knowingly or unknowingly.
Whether big or small, He will forgive everything.
The most important thing is to ask for forgiveness.
Your good deeds, your works, your merits are great in the sight of Allah.
Even if you consider them worthless, Allah keeps them for your hereafter.
In the hereafter, you will see and know how valuable they are.
May Allah grant us all these good things.
Whether big or small, may Allah help us to do good.

Allah, the Sublime and Mighty, instructs us not to knowingly put ourselves in danger.
Allah has given people intellect.
Do what is good for you.
Do not engage in something that is not good, do not put yourselves in danger.
There are both worldly threats and threats to the hereafter.
The real danger is disbelief.
Disbelief is threatening.
Allah says, keep away from it.
There are of course also worldly dangers, especially now, in the end times in which we live.
There are many deceptions.
There is much evil.
There are many dangers.
Act accordingly.
Do not put yourselves in danger.
You can accomplish your tasks without putting yourselves in danger.
It is not necessary to throw yourselves into the fire and then ask what happened.
Tasks can be accomplished without putting oneself in danger.
The end times are a time of deceptions.
In these times, one has to be very careful.
There are great dangers for Islam and Muslims.
Every day, there are more deceptions, more dangers.
One has to be even more careful.
One has to pay attention to what one says, what one does.
Allah says, do not unnecessarily and unfoundedly put yourselves in danger.
When the time comes, then with Allah's permission, when there is no more danger, you can do what you need to do.
Nowadays, dangers exist all over the world, not just in one place.
Since we are now living in the last days, dangers are present everywhere.
The greatest dangers are against Muslims.
They try to lure Muslims into traps.
They strive for nothing good to happen for Muslims, they work on removing them from faith and religion.
That is the greatest danger.
They try everything possible.
Alcohol, drugs, shamefulness - all of that is dangerous.
Stay away from it.
Do not do it.
Do not approach those who do it.
May Allah protect us all.
May Allah protect us from the evils and dangers of these times.
The saints see this situation and say that there has never been such a dangerous time before.
Since humanity has existed, we are now living in the most dangerous time.
The flood in the time of Noah was a danger, but what we are experiencing now is an even worse catastrophe.
Now we have a flood of disbelief, a flood of injustice.
Be on the path of Allah.
Be together with the friends of Allah. May the danger keep away by the will of Allah Almighty.

Allah says that He will retribution to each individual, even for the smallest actions.
Allah will also call each individual evil deed into account.
Therefore, it is to our advantage to do as much good as possible and obey Allah as best we can during our lifetime.
Do not be deterred by the smallness of an action from doing it. If you can, then do it.
Small things matter and can help you achieve greater things.
When you do something for Allah, no matter how small it is, and you do it with the intention to gain Allah’s approval, then you will carry the constant remembrance of Allah in your heart:
You remember Allah!
Evil deeds should not be underestimated.
If a person commits even a single disrespect or sin, Allah will call him to account for it.
With this statement, Allah wants nothing bad for us, but to encourage us to perform good deeds.
If we ask Allah for forgiveness and repent, Allah will erase our sins and their punishments.
If you repent and say as many 'Astaghfirullah', 'Tawba astaghfirullah' as you can every day, seventy times, a hundred times, then Allah will forgive you.
Never say: "It's just a small sin, I don't need to ask for forgiveness."
Never say: "It's not necessary to ask for forgiveness."
Regardless of whether a sin is big or small, it is good to ask for forgiveness.
It's good to eliminate the sins.
The angels wait before they record a sin - an hour, two hours, five hours, eight hours.
They wait to see if the person will repent. After the deadline, they are ordered, "Write!", then they write.
It gets written down.
But even then, if the person repents and asks for forgiveness later, Allah will forgive and erase the sin.
Allah is merciful.
Allah says this as a reminder to us.
Allah does not forget any small goodness.
The person will be rewarded for it.
Nor does He forget any small evil.
The person will be given a punishment for it.
To emphasize this, Allah draws our attention to it.
There is nothing that escapes Allah.
There is evidence and a record for everything.
And there is a reward for everything.
May Allah reward us all.
In honor of these days.

أَلَآ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Allah says, 'For the friends of Allah, there shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.'
On the third day of Ramadan, 51 years ago according to the Gregorian calendar and 53 years according to the Islamic calendar, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani left this world; he passed into the hereafter.
At that time, Sheikh Nazim was named his successor as Sheikh.
He took over from him.
Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani is a pole, the Sultan of Saints.
But only two people understood him.
'I had two disciples,' he himself said.
May their ranks be exalted.
Sheikh Nazim from Cyprus and Sheikh Hüseyin Efendi from Afrin.
They understood him.
They understood his teachings, his words; the others did not.
Those who did not understand, however, pretended as if they did and behaved arrogantly, which led to people being driven away. It was a trial.
There must be a wisdom in that too.
However, the one who brought hundreds of thousands, millions of people onto this path, the path of Allah, was Sheikh Nazim.
The path of truth will endure.
What is not true will crumble and disappear.
Therefore, one must be cautious in such matters.
One should not follow their ego and not stray from the right path.
No matter what people claim for themselves, one should pay no mind.
Attention is only warranted to the two.
Their path was the right path.
They did not stray from the path.
Tariqah and Sharia are interconnected.
They are not separate, but one.
You cannot say, 'I follow the Tariqah; the Sharia does not concern me.'
May Allah protect us from our ego.
Each time we visited Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, back when I was a child and attended the madrasa, he kept telling me and advising: "Continue learning and study more, study the Sharia!"
He gave others different advice, which they did not understand.
For such people, there is no benefit.
The source continues through Sheikh Nazim and Sheikh Hüseyin.
This beautiful path goes on.
With Allah's permission, the truth will endure until the Day of Judgment.
The false, however, will be cut off and disappear.
May Allah elevate their ranks.
May their spiritual support always be with us.
With their spiritual support, with Allah's permission, this path continues.
Otherwise, this path could not persist.
The truth will continue to prevail.
May Allah not divert us from the right path.
May our ego not lead us astray.
Do not be deceived by fair words.
One must believe in the real and truthful things.
Even if it is hard for the ego and the ego dislikes it at all, do not make compromises with the ego, especially when it comes to the true path.
You must be on the right path, even then when your ego dislikes it.
May Allah protect us.
At any time Satan can enter into a person.
May Allah protect us, because Satan can divert a person from the right path.
With beautiful things, with fair words, he can divert a person from the path.
That's why one must be careful.
One must not deviate from the path of the Beloved Prophet, peace be upon him.
Many have strayed from the path.
Those who have strayed have perished.
May Allah protect us.
2024-03-14 - Dergah, Akbaba, İstanbul
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "I have three beloved delights from your world: women, beautiful scent and prayer. I love prayer the most."
These are beloved delights in this world.
Prayer is of utmost importance for a Muslim.
In addition to fasting, Allah has given us additional prayers in the holy month of Ramadan in honor of the Prophet, so that we may perform more prayers and benefit from them even more.
Tarawih is Sunnah.
Performing the Tarawih prayer means earning a great reward.
Some people claim that the Tarawih prayer is not Sunnah.
The legitimacy of the Tarawih prayer is not up for discussion. It is certain that the Tarawih prayer is Sunnah.
The caliphs who came after the Prophet - Sayyidina Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali - all performed Tarawih.
What they did is Sunnah.
Their actions are Sunnah.
The Prophet himself, peace be upon him, performed the Tarawih prayer.
However, he prayed alone, so as not to make it a Fard.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, prayed once or twice in the mosque.
Then he continued the Tarawih prayer in his blessed house.
Sayyidina Umar institutionalized the Tarawih prayer and had it performed in community in official form.
Hence, it is also Sunnah to pray in a congregation.
What does it mean to practice the Sunnah?
Practicing the Sunnah means gaining more.
What will we gain? Money, gold, jewelry?
We will gain something that is more valuable than all that.
Gold and money stay in this world.
But if you practice the Sunnah, you gain a treasure that will stay with you forever.
You will benefit from that treasure for eternity.
Everything else stays in this world and it is not certain whether it is useful or not.
If used for good, it is beneficial, if used for evil, it will harm.
That's why in this blessed month we should practice the Sunnah as much as possible and benefit from this blessing.
We thank Allah that the denial or reduction of the Tarawih prayer is not widespread in our country.
The Tarawih prayer is performed in 20 Rakats.
In other places, the devil has tricked people into thinking that 4 or 8 Rakats suffice.
The congregation prays 8 Rakats and then quickly runs away.
Previously, the congregation used to leave the mosque prematurely.
Now even the imams pray only 8 Rakats.
We thank Allah that this country is the capital of the Caliphs of Islam.
It is still prayed as the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Caliphs after him did: 20 Rakats.
The devil is trying to reduce the number of prayers by all means for his own gain.
Once Bayazid-i Bistami missed the morning prayer.
He was so sad and pleaded with Allah for forgiveness.
Then came the command of Allah:
“Bayazid should receive a thousandfold reward for his repentance!".
So greatly was Bayazid-i Bistami moved.
When Bayazid-i Bistami was about to miss the morning prayer once again, the devil woke him up.
"Get up, or you'll miss the prayer."
Bayazid quickly got up and prayed.
Then he asked the devil: "Why did you wake me up? You do not do good."
The devil replied: "Last time when you didn't wake up, you received a thousand times more reward."
"I woke you up so it wouldn't happen again this time."
There are all sorts of tricks for deceiving people.
Even good deeds are done if they result in harm in the end.
Those people who try to deter you from the Tarawih prayer are the same.
They pretend to do good and say: "You are not following the Sunnah, the Sunnah is not like this, these are things that the Prophet did not do." With seemingly good statements, they deceive people.
There are many people who are easily deceived because they do not have a true Sheikh, a true scholar to follow.
May Allah protect us.
Perform the Sunnah prayers as much as you can!
Above all, the Sunnah prayers that the Prophet, peace be upon him, performed continuously: Sunnah Muakkadah.
There are different kinds of Sunnah prayers.
There are the Sunnah prayers that the Prophet performed continuously.
And there are voluntary Nafila prayers.
Most people say: "The Sunnah is not necessary. Two or four Rakats. That's enough. Goodbye!"
They do not make Tasbih after prayer, nothing.
They suffer great harm.
When one misses the benefit, harm results.
May Allah grant us understanding.
May we not be deceived by the devil and devilish scholars.
May Allah protect us from their evil.

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
(45:13)
صدق الله العظيم
Allah, the Exalted, has created for mankind everything that is in the heaven and on the earth.
All things have been created by Allah, the Exalted, for the benefit of mankind.
He has created everything.
And Allah's creation continues.
He didn't just create us and then stop creating.
The creation of Allah is infinite.
Our time will come, the Day of Judgment will occur, some will enter Paradise, others will go elsewhere.
Even after us, Allah's creation will continue.
Our minds cannot comprehend Allah's knowledge.
It is important to realize that Allah has created everything for the good of human beings.
Allah has created the things of this world so that they serve us and we can use them for our livelihood.
Both what is in the heavens and on the earth, serves mankind.
The things in creation are unfathomable.
There are visible and invisible things.
Everything is to your advantage, provided you are on Allah's path.
Allah, the Exalted, has given to all human beings, without distinguishing whether they believe or not.
Whoever recognizes this and gives thanks to Allah will win.
He will benefit from Allah's gifts.
Whoever does not recognize this and does not believe in Allah, does not give thanks, still receives from Allah, but it is of no benefit.
Life will take on a harmful form.
So, on the Day of Judgment, when those who denied Allah account for their deeds and see their punishments, they will wish they had been dust and earth instead of human beings.
Allah created them as humans. They are accountable and they will have to give an account accordingly.
May Allah make us among those who appreciate His blessings and thank Him for them.
May Allah's favour be upon us forever.
