Allah Azza wa Jalla mentions in Surah Sajdah that He created you from mud, from earth, and gave you everything, especially the abilities to hear and see; however, very few people are thankful to Allah. Very few people are thankful to their Lord, the Creator, Allah Azza wa Jalla. Being thankful is a big blessing for those who are thankful to Allah. Allah is happy with him; Allah loves him. The Prophet, salallahu alayhi wa sallam, is also happy. The Mashaykh are happy with him too. Our aim in this life is the happiness and pleasure of Allah, the Prophet, and the Mashaykh, Awliyaullah. And this comes from being thankful to Allah; it is a big thing to be thankful to Allah. Maybe people think it is not such a big matter, but it indeed is a very big thing. We are thanking Him for every hour, every minute, every second. And Alhamdulillah, may He make us meet again in this blessed place. May Allah give you more and more, Insha'Allah. When you are thankful, He gives more. May He give Hidayah to all of Spain, Insha'Allah, and to all of Europe.

The Prophet said, "Barakah in early morning Fajr, pray Fajr, you get barakah for the whole day, in sha'a Llah." It is the first prayer to begin the day by worshipping Allah , giving barakah. If you sleep through it, you won't have this barakah in your day. And 'barakah' means everything good; everything goes well. In olden times, people had no television, nothing. They slept early, woke up early, and their lives were easier, with more happiness in those days. Many people say, "I cannot wake up for Fajr." Why can you not wake up for Fajr? You say you slept late, didn't you? Yes. If you sleep late, how can you wake up early? It's better to sleep earlier; it's good for your health and your body, and you can wake up for Fajr. If you cannot wake up for Fajr, at least make sure to pray Fajr when you do wake up. This is a gift from Allah to you. May Allah help us to follow His command so that we may be happy, healthy, and receive mercy, in sha'a Llah.

We must know and love the Companions of the Prophet, Sahabat ar-Rasulullah. The Prophet said, "They are my companions." If you follow any one of them, you will be on the right path. They were sacrificing themselves for the Prophet, for Islam. Their love for the Prophet was so immense that it was not altered even though nothing was easy for them. I wanted to say this because we are here, al-hamdu liLlah, in a good place. We are sitting outside, and everyone is feeling a little bit cold. What we are saying now is in honor of the Sahaba and the hardship they had to endure during the Battle of the Trench. They were surrounded by non-believers, mushrikun, and kafirs, waiting until nightfall to prevent the enemy from entering. And the desert cold is terrible. And they didn't have what we have here, which keeps us very warm, al-hamdu liLlah. And their clothes were very thin and very poor. They had only one set of clothes, nothing else. They also had no food. When you are hungry, you feel even colder. They endured this for one month. This is just one example of how, out of their love for the Prophet and for Allah, they sacrificed themselves. Nowadays, some people say this Sahabah is good, this one is not. And they sit in luxury, having everything they need. While enjoying this comfort, they speak against the Sahabah. Anyone who speaks against the Sahabah should not be listened to, as it is dangerous. The Prophet cursed those who say anything against the Sahabah. May Allah bless them and bestow their barakah upon us, in sha'Allah.

وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٖ (68:4) صدق الله العظيم Allah Azza wa Jalla praises the Prophet, salallahu alayhi wa sallam, as the best-behaved one. Being well-behaved is an order from the Prophet, salallahu alayhi wa sallam. And all Sahaba and Mashayikh exhibit this good attribute of behavior. Making life better for everyone. They help Mu'mins come closer to their Lord, Allah Azza wa Jalla. They are gentle with their family, neighbors, relatives, friends, and all people. All prophets and saints possess this character. Just good behavior—every good thing like justice, mercy, and everything you know about good character and behavior. Someone with good character is a person who does not harm anyone; no harm comes from them. They bring you happiness. May Allah help us to maintain good character.

Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, wants us to be joyous in the blessings and generosity He has given us. What He gave us, Alhamdulillah, is to be here together in His way, to follow His order, to do what is the best for us. There are millions of people who do not have this favor. He gave us, we don't know how, what is the wisdom, but Alhamdulillah for this we must be happy. This is better than what they collect. You can collect millions, billions. It is not beneficial, not good. The best thing is if Allah bestows you this favor, it is better than all of the world combined. We are grateful for what Allah has bestowed upon us, we thank him for this favor, Alhamdulillah.

Today is the seventh day of the blessed month of Shawwal. Praise be to Allah. Today is the last day of Shawwal fasting. Our Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Whoever fasts six days after Ramadan, it is as if he fasted the entire year. This is a voluntary fast. It is not obligatory, so one can choose freely when to fast. One can fast on any day during the month of Shawwal. You can fast for one day or five days. There is no obligation to fast for six days, as it is voluntary. Voluntary acts are not worthless. They have great value. Fasting is considered a tenfold reward, so that fasting for 30 days in Ramadan is considered fasting for 300 days. In addition, if one fasts for another six days in the month of Shawwal, this is counted as sixty days of fasting and is rewarded in total for 360 days of fasting. It is as if one had fasted all year round, so says our Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. This is a great blessing and a great advantage for us. The best thing is to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet and start Shawwal fasting on the second day of Eid. Fasting is not performed on the Eid day. Yes, fasting is not permissible on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, because the actual feast is the first day. On the Feast of Sacrifice, no fasting takes place for four days. So there are five days in the year when fasting is forbidden. It is permissible on all other days. If one starts fasting on the second day, today is the last day. Today is another holiday. It is called Eid al-Abrar. Today is regarded as a second holiday. There are some things that have been written. That which follows the Sharia is acceptable. Sometimes a man writes certain things in a certain state. We should not give too much importance to this written stuff. It does not bind us. What binds us is the Sharia and Tariqa. There is nothing outside of Sharia in Tariqa. Things that are outside of Sharia are inventions by later generations who do not follow the path. All Tariqas follow Sharia. There is no disagreement. Tariqa and Sharia are one. They are like a metal that is fused together, without any differences. Those who claim a difference are committing a sin. May Allah protect us. May this day be blessed and good for us. Welcome to all who have come! Some have just returned from Umrah. May Allah accept it. O Allah, may those who have not yet gone on Hajj get the opportunity to go.

The greatest and best miracle is to consistently follow the right path. Praise be to Allah. The days are passing. Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr. The days are going by. What blessings and wisdom do these days bring? If you are on the right path, it's about continuing to follow it. You are thinking of what else you could do? So know: To persistently do as much as you can is the best thing. Consistency is truly a miracle. People seek miracles in being saints. People are looking for ways to perform miracles. If you follow the right path unwaveringly, that is the greatest miracle. There is nothing more beautiful than consistency. He who perseveres and continues on his path will eventually experience good. Blessing will arise. You will succeed. But if you choose other paths and strike out on them, you will get lost. It is important to stay firm on the path. In the High Quran, Allah, the Exalted and Almighty, proclaims that he who leaves his position in battle and flees, causing unrest, belongs to Hell. Standing firm is the most important thing. That is a great miracle. Don't let the world deceive you. The world is deceptive. It can lead you astray. That's why it's important to stay on this path and follow it to the end. The end of this path is Paradise. That is the greatest reward. There is no greater reward. People take different paths. These paths they are taking come to an end. Then they start looking for new paths. The path is, however, clear and obvious. Allah, the Exalted and Mighty, has shown the right path. To follow this path is good for all people. Tormenting oneself and taking useless paths is of no benefit. It brings harm. May Allah protect the people. O Allah, grant them and all of us guidance.

Allah the Exalted and Exalted says: "O believers, eat the good things. Do not follow the traces of the devil, says Allah. Praise be to Allah! Allah has given us every kind of blessing. For everything there is Halal and Haram. Allah, the Exalted, says eat what is Halal. It will be good for you, it will be a remedy for you. Eat Halal. Do not chase after the devil. The devil does not strive for your good, but for your harm. Therefore, Allah the Exalted says that we must pay attention to what we eat. In these times, in which we are living now, people have a lot to eat, they do not care about what they eat. Most people do not care about Halal and Haram. Hence, diseases are increasing. Diseases arise when you fill your stomach with Haram. Allah the Exalted has created everything in opposites. Lawful, unlawful. A piece of Halal, a piece of Haram. Good food, bad food. There is the lawful and the unlawful. Both exist. A person should eat the good, eat the lawful. He should not approach the unlawful. There is no need for rudeness. Now they are doing various things to deceive people. They mix different substances in the food, so that when people eat it, they want it permanently. These added substances are harmful. There are very harmful substances. Instead of salt, they add another substance to make it taste more. People no longer have taste on their tongues, in their mouths. They eat without understanding whether it is sweet, delicious or tasteless. The added substances harm their bodies. Both the mind and the body suffer from it. That's why Allah the Exalted says: "Eat Halal, the clean, the good". Keep away from Haram. There is no benefit in the unlawful. It does not benefit your body in any way. It is harmful. May Allah protect us from it. May Allah protect us from the harm and deception of people. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim always preferred food that is prepared at home. Even if it is not much, it is enough. It strengthens the body. It also strengthens faith. With haram food, the body gets sick. With haram food, the spirit will not benefit. There is no benefit for the soul in the unlawful. We have to be careful. The body is a pledge. Allah the Exalted has given us the body as a pledge and says that we should take good care of the body and keep it well, so that we can fulfill our duties. We have to take care of our body, so that it can accompany us till the end. Your body should not be a burden for you, your body should carry you. May Allah protect all of us. May Allah grant us a long life. May what we eat mean health and well-being for us. May Allah protect us from the bites eaten unintentionally. May Allah forgive us.

We thank Allah that we may belong to the people of Prophet Abraham and the community of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them. There were many nations in the Ottoman Empire. There were seventy two nations. In the Ottoman Empire, there was Islam. There was no nationalism. The Ottomans didn't want nationalism. Islam is the unity. Islam commands the unity. Islam forbids division. For this reason, the Ottoman Empire promoted unity by saying: "We all belong to the people of Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him." We all are part of the community of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Nothing else is needed. The religion of Abraham, peace be upon him, is the Hanif religion, the religion of the One God. This religion is the religion of the forefathers and grandparents of our Prophet, peace be upon him. People there later changed this religion. They began to practice idolatry. When revered Abraham, peace be upon him, left his son, Ismael, in Mecca, he prayed: Oh Allah, make this place a city of safety. Shield me and my children from worshipping statues! ءَامِنًۭا وَٱجْنُبْنِى وَبَنِىَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ ٱلْأَصْنَامَ (14:35) This prayer applies to the entire community of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. From Abraham, peace be upon him, through our Prophet to the day of Judgement, there should be no idol worship. Idols bring no benefit. There are physical idols and spiritual idols. All idols, especially physical idols should be avoided. To give them respect or importance, does not benefit people, but harms them. The idol worship will continue until the day of judgement. Many years ago, we were in India. We walked through a street and saw people there hitting stone. Clack-clack! Clack-clack! What is that? They're making idols and statues for worship. One can only wonder in astonishment what they are doing. This is something that will continue until the day of judgement. May Allah protect us from it. It is not good to have formative things in the house, one should avoid them. They take away the blessing, angels do not enter the house. Where angels do not enter, demons and jinn enters. One must be careful. Many people complain about it. May Allah protect us from it. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said, as we recited in the Hutba: بُغِضَتْ إِلَيَّ الأَصْنَامُ "I detest idols," says our revered Prophet, peace be upon him. When he went to Damascus, the monk Bahira there recognized all the signs of our Prophet and saw them in him. The Quraish had two big idols named Lat and Uzza. The monk swore by them, as was the custom with them at that time. Our Prophet did not like this at all. "These are the things I hate the most," said our honored Prophet. Then the monk Bahira, Allah be pleased with him, realized that our revered Prophet was indeed the promised Prophet. In this way, the sign that the announced Prophet detests idols and the like was confirmed. May Allah save people from such things. People fall, knowingly or unknowingly, most often unknowingly, into this mistake. A wise man would never do such things. People who are not smart enough say, "There's nothing wrong with it" and put figures in their house. These are unnecessary and harmful things, one should avoid them. May Allah protect us from it.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍۢ (68:4) صدق الله العظيم Allah describes the attributes of the Prophet, peace be upon him. He identifies him as the most perfect of all humans. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had the noblest character. His path is the way for all of humanity, not just Muslims. Allah has sent him for all people. His way is a way of light. Those who follow his way will attain all blessings. Following his way is a gift. It leads to every blessing. The greatest blessing is to drink from the water of al-Kawthar in the hereafter. Whoever drinks from this water will be freed from all evil. There will be no doubts, no bad thoughts. He fears no one, holds no grudges against anyone. He will bring no enmity to anyone. In paradise, there is nothing like what is in this world. From these negative characteristics, one is cleansed by drinking the water from al-Kawthar. After cleansing at al-Kawthar, a person has no negative attributes left, and therefore you find no bad things in paradise. In this world, there is evil as a test. But in Paradise, there's nothing like that, only in hell is there evil in abundance. The path of the Prophet is the true way; the good way is his path. He is a gift from Allah to the people. The Prophet, peace be upon him, is a blessing from Allah. And we thank Allah that we belong to his community. That is an even greater blessing for us. These holidays were given to his community in his honor. With these holidays comes both material and spiritual gifts. For this we thank Allah. Bless our festivals. The festival of the fasting person is celebrated both at the breaking of the fast, the Iftar, and in Paradise. The first festival has already taken place. O Allah, may we also reach the second, the great festival, by drinking from al-Kawthar. O Allah, may it be bestowed upon all of us.
