Mawlana Sheikh Mehmed Adil. Translations.

لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٖ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ (2:285) This verse from Surah Al-Baqarah means that we do not discriminate between any of the Prophets, may peace be upon them all. We respect them all equally. However, this doesn't mean they are all of the same rank. Sometimes people who lack knowledge or proper etiquette misunderstand this concept. They might say that the Prophet, peace be upon him, is just like the others, or they might speak disrespectfully about certain Prophets. This is incorrect - they are all equal in their status as Allah's messengers. However, they do have different ranks among themselves. تِلۡكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۘ (2:253) This means that among Allah's messengers, some were elevated above others in rank. Of course, the Prophet, peace be upon him, holds the highest rank. After him come the Ulul Azm, the Prophets of exceptional strength. Then there are 313 Prophets who hold a special status above the others. How many Prophets were there in total? There were 124,000 Prophets, because throughout thousands of years, Allah never left the earth without guidance - from the time of Adam, peace be upon him, until the Prophet, may peace be upon him. The Prophet, peace be upon him, is the final messenger and his message is complete. The previous Prophets brought divine guidance gradually, with some of their teachings being completed or superseded over time. But Islam is the most perfect and final religion, which will not be changed. This is the religion of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah, billions of people follow this faith today. The community of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is the largest of all prophetic nations. They are most fortunate if they recognize this blessing. If they don't recognize its value, they are unfortunate and will not benefit from it. May Allah make us grateful for this great blessing.

ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ (2:86) Allah Azza wa Jalla tells us about those who trade away their afterlife for worldly gains. We should use this worldly life to secure our afterlife, not sacrifice our afterlife for worldly gains. This means we shouldn't deceive people or take advantage of them by presenting ourselves as pious individuals. This applies not only to money but to everything else as well. Many people pretend to be saints awliyaullah, alim, or mashaykh. This is what they do. These people might seem content and wealthy, but they don't have Allah's pleasure. Life is brief, it's not a long journey. When their lives end, they'll realize their actions brought them no benefit, only harm. People need to be careful when someone claims to be a shaykh, an alim, or an awliya. Their teachings must align with what Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam taught. If they say anything that contradicts the Prophet's sallallahu alayhi wa sallam teachings, reject it. Alhamdulillah, we mention this because deception happens everywhere and anyone can fall victim to it. That's why we keep reminding you to be cautious. Some people wrap themselves in Islamic law to gain your trust. Often, they deceive themselves even before deceiving others. They harm themselves first by trading something precious for something trivial. What's precious? Eternal life. And what's trivial? This brief worldly existence. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described this life as quick as a blink of an eye. How can anyone find joy in gaining something that has no blessing, no benefit, and only brings curses - curses from Allah, from Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, from the angels, and from all of humanity? Allah Azza wa Jalla disapproves of such people. Insha Allah, may Allah guide these people and protect us from their deception. Their deception isn't limited to money, as we mentioned. They'll say anything for their benefit, even telling you, "I can guide you to salvation, you don't need to pray." They'll say, "Just follow me and give me money," and gradually lead you down this path. Some make even more outrageous claims. May Allah protect us from them. May they stay far away from us, insha Allah.

Insha'Allah, let us have a suhbah with our fellow Muslims. We ask Allah Azza wa Jalla to bless you all. As Hazrat Abu Bakr said, may Allah make true what people say about us, insha'Allah. We don't make any claims about ourselves, but insha'Allah, may Allah make us worthy of how you think of us. Our path is that of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), the way of all that is good and beautiful. This path teaches people what it truly means to be human. Only Islam teaches this way, as demonstrated by the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). In authentic Islam, following the example of our Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) who is our perfect role model, he said "Addabani Rabbi fa ahsana ta'dibi." The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said that Allah taught him proper conduct (adab) and perfected his character completely. Having respect and proper conduct, adab, is not a weakness - it's actually very important. Adab is a crucial aspect of our faith. Yet nowadays, those who claim to be teaching humanity often consider good manners to be the worst attribute. They treat it as something unacceptable. They say you must abandon good behavior and instead be aggressive and violent, claiming this is the only way to avoid being targeted. But if you maintain good behavior and remain peaceful, they oppress you and work against you. Islam teaches the opposite of this. Islam, alhamdulillah, elevates people to higher standards of character. While others try to bring them down. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) lived among the people. Those who lacked respect and adab - their defining characteristic was pride and arrogance. Each would claim superiority over others, refusing to speak with those they considered beneath them. Islam removed all these false distinctions. No one is superior to another except through good deeds and noble character. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) taught his Sahaba to be the best example for us. Before Islam, when people would gather, no one would listen to others - they would shout and fight. But when they embraced Islam and learned adab from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), they would sit so still when he spoke that it was as if birds were perched on their heads. As if any movement would cause the birds to fly away. So they remained perfectly still, showing complete respect and attention. This is what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) taught his Companions to teach us. They showed us the proper way to behave. But of course, like today, even then there were those who did not learn proper conduct. After establishing Madinah Munawwara, when they went to open Makkah for Islam, there was the Battle of Hunain. This was a significant battle. Many tribes gathered to oppose the Muslims. They fought against the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It was a difficult battle. But Allah granted victory through a miracle for the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). It was a very intense conflict. According to custom after battle, the spoils of war were distributed among those who fought and the families of the martyrs. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) gave everyone their due share. One-fifth was reserved for the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). He could distribute this portion as he saw fit, while the rest was shared among those who participated in the battle. As the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was distributing the shares, A man from the Bani Tamim tribe, named Dhul-Khuwaisira, approached. This man came before the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). The Companions were delighted simply to be in the presence of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). They took joy in watching him interact with and give to the people. But this man came and said, "O Prophet, you must distribute with justice." That was how he addressed the Prophet. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replied, "If I do not practice justice, who will? Without justice, nothing can exist." Sayyidina Umar bin Khattab became justifiably angry at what this man said. He said, "Let me punish him." But the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), with his complete wisdom, The source of all wisdom, Said, "No, O Umar, do not do this. He has family and his tribe; it would cause great discord (fitna). Let him be, but know that people like him read Quran yet it doesn't penetrate beyond their throats - it never reaches their hearts. They will leave Islam as swiftly as an arrow leaves a bow." This is what poor character does to people, and many today approve of such behavior. Consider why so many people, young and old, follow this path. The answer is simple - the right path seems difficult because when you try to follow it, a thousand devils try to discourage you, saying: you're tired, you're unwell, don't go, these people are few, the majority is elsewhere. But when people go toward misguidance, shaytan encourages them, saying: go there, you're right, you're completely right. They label others as mushrik and kafir, speaking ill of them. People are deceived by shaytan; this is why the wrong path seems easy. With harmful things, shaytan doesn't prevent but rather assists. This is wisdom people need to understand. Many people, even from our own community, might say you're wrong because few people follow this path. If you attract 100, they gather 2000. If you gather 500, they collect 50,000. This relates to what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said about the end times - Muslims will be many in number but have little impact. They'll lack value because they won't pursue what's truly precious. Instead, they'll collect worthless things - like stones and garbage. So their actions have no worth. Who wants to collect garbage and stones? No one finds value in that. But if you gather jewels, you have true worth, and others will oppose you to take these treasures from you. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) teaches us to follow his way, to respect others, to be good people because Muslims should be gentle. He teaches that Muslims should be easy-going, smiling, and helpful to others. This is what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) instructs. Not to be harsh or unwelcoming. Sayyidina Jafar as-Sadiq, from the noble lineage of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), said a true believer's sign is to smile and to be gentle, while a munafiq shows a dark expression and treats people poorly. These are the marks of one who doesn't truly respect the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Alhamdulillah, we strive to follow the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Maintain your joy always. Don't let others' words or shaytan's deceptions frighten you. Don't follow or fear these things. You're on the right path, alhamdulillah, the way of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). The tariqa connects us to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Without tariqa, gatherings may use different names. But without tariqa, all eventually goes astray. Only through tariqa, because the Prophet preserves those who follow him. Moreover, there are many hadith instructing us to seek out those who saw the Prophet. This became the tradition - people would say about someone, "This man, he saw the Prophet." Then after them, they would seek those who had seen the ones who saw the Prophet. And then those who saw the ones who saw those who saw the Prophet, continuing this chain back to him. Alhamdulillah, all authentic tariqas connect to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Some may claim spiritual authority, But if they don't follow shariah, their claim isn't genuine. Observe if they perform their prayers. We've seen many self-proclaimed shaykhs who don't follow basic obligations - some don't even pray. It's not appropriate to follow such people. Allah has given us intellect to discern truth from falsehood. Don't blindly accept someone just because they come from Sham, Pakistan, India, Egypt, or anywhere else. Verify if they follow an established madhhab. Following a madhhab is essential. Today, many reject both tariqa and madhhab. They claim there's no need for madhhab. They say they can judge religious matters by themselves. When someone makes such claims, avoid discussing with them. This creates illness in the heart, and people are easily influenced by such ideas. Don't follow anyone who says this, even if they've memorized the entire Quran and know many hadith. If they reject madhhab, they're not following the Prophet's (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) teachings. Their knowledge brings no benefit. Consider who was the most knowledgeable being? Shaytan, Iblis. Iblis knew all divine books, knew everything. He possessed all knowledge, but being cursed, his knowledge brought no benefit. It's not important to merely know, but to act upon knowledge. Praying two units at night is better than a hundred during the day. But even if you pray a thousand voluntary units every night of your life, missing one obligatory prayer is worse than all those voluntary prayers combined. Be aware and don't be deceived by people. Some say, "I don't pray but I spend all night doing tasbih, dhikr, hadra, reciting Quran and hadith." They claim prayer isn't necessary because they're doing all these other things. They consider themselves the most perfect ones. It seems absurd, yet many follow such people. Many believe in and follow them. This is just one example we've given. Not everyone does this particular thing. This is one of thousands of such examples. You must be vigilant because you're on the path; you must be very careful. You're like someone in a high place - you could fall at any moment. We must stay on the right path until we meet Allah Azza wa Jalla. It's crucial to remain steady and strong on this path until our last breath, insha'Allah. May Allah help Islam and Muslims, for only Allah can help us. This relates to what the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) prophesied. His prophecies extend until Qiyamah. As mentioned, Muslims will be many but without benefit. But after this, Allah will send one from the Prophet's (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) descendants, Sayyidina Mahdi, to rectify everything. He will end corruption and deal with those who spread it. They will either reform or depart. This is the only way forward. Pure Islam will prevail throughout the earth, insha'Allah.

وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ (6:116) Allah Azza wa Jalla is saying that if you listen to most people, they will lead you away from Allah, away from religion, and away from anything beneficial. They are in dalal. Dalal means corruption and everything that is bad. In the end, through dalal, you become lost and lose everything. This happens if you listen to those who don't seek to be with Allah Azza wa Jalla and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam - you will become lost. For this reason, Alhamdulillah, those who follow the tariqah and follow a madhhab are safe. But it's not only non-Muslims - there are many types of people who claim to be Muslim but who also lead you away from Allah, away from Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, away from the Awliyaullah, from the Sahaba, and from the Ahlul Bayt. All of these, as Allah Azza wa Jalla says, are the majority. Those who are on the right path, the path of Allah, are few. The majority are those who lead you astray and fill you with doubt. After doubt sets in, you will be lost. Iman is stronger than Islam. Of course, everyone can be Muslim, but not everyone is a mumin. Mumin means believer. Many people believe differently. Even within Islam, some believe that what Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did and said was not right. How can this be? Everything comes through the ulama, through scholars, through the Sahaba - what the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said and did. And you say this is shirk? This is the teaching of Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the teaching of the Sahaba, the teaching of Ahlul Bayt. You forget all of this and make people doubt. And because they are not connected with Tariqa, but are just normal Muslims, we see most Muslims now - large groups - following these people because they think it is right. And Allah Azza wa Jalla says they are wrong. May Allah help Muslims to be awakened. Allah Azza wa Jalla has, throughout time since Prophet Adam alayhi salam until now, sent people - Prophets, and after Prophets their companions, the awliyaullah, ulama, and mashayikh - to teach people, to keep their iman strong, to give them strong faith, and to save them from these misleading people. May Allah place us with the good people, not with the majority, but with the few special servants of Allah, inshallah.

والذين امنوا بالله ورسله اولئك هم الصديقون والشهداء عند ربهم لهم اجرهم ونورهم (57:19) Allah Azza wa Jalla says those who believe in Allah and the Prophet, peace be upon him, they are like the martyrs and the truthful ones. They are martyrs and believers in the Divine Presence of Allah Azza wa Jalla. This is how Islam grew their nation: by dedicating everything to Allah, glorified and exalted be He. To be acceptable as believers of Allah Azza wa Jalla, they sacrificed everything, even themselves. What does Allah, glorified and exalted be He, want? He wants to spread justice and goodness throughout the world. Of course, Satan is not happy with this. All the caliphs after Prophet, peace be upon him, - the Khulafāʾ ar-Rāshidūn and the subsequent caliphs - dedicated their whole lives to spreading these good things to all of humanity. The last ones were the Ottoman sultans, who sacrificed themselves just to maintain Allah's sovereignty in this world. As Allah's Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "as-sulṭānu ẓillu-llāhi fī l-arḍ" meaning the sultan is the shadow of Allah on this earth. Of course, this doesn't mean He has a physical shadow as we know it, but rather it shows people how important the role of sultan is. So, after they removed the sultan and caliph, everything turned upside down. Nothing has gone well since then. Yet Satan and his followers still try to destroy even the image of the sultans, claiming they were oppressors, that they killed people and subjugated nations. These were all lies. In Islamic states, people of all kinds, of every religion, lived in peace. As long as they obeyed the law and paid their taxes - and these taxes weren't as burdensome as some might think. No, it wasn't like that at all. In Europe, the lords and others would take more than half, sometimes even more, leaving very little for people after taxation. But in Ottoman Empire, Muslims only had to pay zakat. For non-Muslims, it wasn't zakat, just a small tax. They were free to live and worship as they pleased. However, if they waged war against the sultan, those responsible had to face consequences. This was necessary for justice. Sometimes, these people would attack Muslim villages, killing women and children. They thought they would prevail. But they were quickly caught and dealt with appropriately. Because you cannot allow corruption to spread - if you leave something to rot, everything around it will also rot. It's like when doctors find cancer in some place - you must cut it out and remove it. What's most important is that millions of people can live in peace. All these criminals and wrongdoers try to rise against the sultan, using religion and nationality as their tools of destruction. So they were dealt with. This is why some say Islam spread by the sword. Did it really spread by the sword? There were oppressors ruling over people. Those oppressors used their swords to oppress people, killing their own citizens and nations. When Islam came, people were happy and many quickly accepted Islam. Many accepted Islam, while others continued their own faiths, paying a small tax and living in peace. This is Islam. But others, when they came to power, would kill even people of their own religion if they were of a different sect. Jesus, peace be upon him, said if someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to them the other also. Yet they slaughtered 70,000 Muslims, Christians, and Jews in Jerusalem until no one was left. How can they then claim this is Christianity and that they are spreading peace? After the Caliphate fell, they found a vacuum and installed the most unfortunate Muslim leaders. As we say in Turkish, "From misplaced mercy comes violence." This means when you show mercy to one who doesn't deserve it, they will kill you. This is what happened to Muslim states - because they showed mercy and didn't oppress people. Afterward, they mistreated Muslims and destroyed the entire Caliphate. After the Caliphate, they installed Muslim traitors, giving them women, money... They influenced them with European lifestyles, claiming Europeans were more civilized and that Muslims should be like them. This happened throughout Muslim countries over the last 150 years, since Mawlana Shaykh cursed and denounced the French Revolution. Since that time, and the French Revolution still hasn't ended - it continues. Insha'Allah, Sayyidina Mahdi, peace be upon him, will end it. The whole world believes this big lie that the king was an oppressor, and that they took the Bastille to free people inside. But what happened? Even historians say that when they went to the Bastille, they expected to find people in chains, with only skin and bones. But all they found were just seven people, and they were all well-fed and overweight, like our people today. They weren't suffering at all. They didn't even want to leave, but they were forced out. They say French farmers were ten times happier and richer than the English. The Freemasons created this revolution and they still control the world today. Don't try to overthrow them - only Mahdi, peace be upon him, can do that. Insha'Allah, he will remove them. They destroyed religion, including other religions. Christianity is finished. Nobody believes in Christianity anymore. They've all become atheists or something else. They have devastated Muslim communities. Even though there are many Muslims in the world, under these oppressors' rule, Muslim communities have no standing For this reason, our only hope, praise be to Allah, is to wait for Sayyidina Mahdi, and insha'Allah, everything indicates his arrival is near. This is our situation, but what is our duty? Mawlana Shaykh said to make prayers always for Mahdi, peace be upon him. We are waiting for faraj, but what is faraj? It means opening, and Allah will reward us for this patience, insha'Allah. May Allah help us, may Allah be with us. Do not be deceived by others. May Allah guide the Muslims. Do not follow Satan's deceptions, insha'Allah.

الحب في الله والبغض في الله Love for Allah's sake and dislike what displeases Allah. You cannot love everything in your life. Love cannot always be present. Sometimes you love something or someone, and sometimes you don't. However, a Muslim must not hate another Muslim. Only for the sake of Allah. If you see something wrong, you must not accept it. If you accept wrong actions, you are not aligned with Allah Azza wa Jalla. You must be with Allah Azza wa Jalla. What He loves, you must love. What He doesn't love, you shouldn't love. Allah loves what is good. What He doesn't love are bad things, impure things. There are thousands of evil things or more. Before there were 800, now there are even more. Things that Allah Azza wa Jalla dislikes. This is our path, the path to seek Allah's love. And this is how to gain Allah's love. What He loves, you must love. What He hates, you must hate. We hate evil things. We hate Satan. We hate oppression. We hate what causes people to suffer. These are the things Allah dislikes. He never dislikes what is good. Never - this is not among Allah Azza wa Jalla's attributes. Allah Azza wa Jalla's attributes are only associated with good things. Bad attributes belong to human beings and Satan. This is what we disagree with and what we hate. We don't hate people themselves or their personalities. We hate the bad qualities they possess. This is what Allah Azza wa Jalla commands us to do. Some people think Muslims hate everything. No, we hate only what is evil. Allah shows us what is bad to hate and what is good to love, insha'Allah.

A nikah can take place anywhere, as long as there are two witnesses and both parties accept to be husband and wife. With these two witnesses present, the nikah is complete, and they become lawful for each other. Without these requirements, a nikah cannot be valid. Sometimes people try to legitimize forbidden relationships by claiming they're performing a nikah. Some people who appear to be Muslim but are actually perverse claim they can perform a nikah. They say they can make a nikah with angels as witnesses. These aren't angels - they're devils. Many people are deceived by those who appear Muslim on the outside but have evil intentions within. This is a very important matter. After a proper nikah, it's also important to understand what marriage truly means. Marriage brings two different people together, and it can be challenging to become united. Each person has their own ideas and their own background. But they must understand that some things need to change. It's not about one person dictating how the other should live. Sometimes there are differences - you might dislike something they do, or they might dislike something you do. You must be patient. These days, people are quick to divorce and look for someone else. But now, divorce has become a serious problem in our time. It wasn't like this before. They say the divorce rate is between 60-80%. This is because people are looking outside their marriages and lack patience. So it becomes difficult. They say if you have a good wife and good children, you're in paradise. But if you have a bad spouse or difficult children, you'll cry every day as if you're in hell. When you have a marriage, strive to be good to each other. Every day I hear stories, especially about some followers who wear large turbans - even bigger than mine - who oppress their wives and throw them out. This is not right - we must do better. We must follow the best example we have - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He taught us through his relationship with his wives - he was gentle with them and made them happy. Spouses must follow this example with each other.

Alhamdulillah, we have reached this blessed day. May Allah accept our prayers and our faith. Now we are not claiming that we are doing good, we are just trying to obey Allah Azza wa Jalla. He has ordered us to pray, fast, give zakat, and follow all His commands. We can do these things, and Allah accepts them, because we are not claiming that we are doing the best. No, what we do is nothing except obeying the orders of Allah. This is the proper etiquette,adab, for human beings - they must have proper conduct and obey, even while knowing that what they do has no inherent value. The only value lies in following the orders of Allah Azza wa Jalla. هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي (27:40) This is the favor of Allah. He enables us to pray and come together for His love. He enables us to give charity, pay zakat, and go here and there for His sake. All of this comes from Allah's favor. Don't think you have done anything by yourself. We simply ask Allah for forgiveness and pray that He continues His favor upon us and all Muslims, granting them guidance. Of course, if you say, "I follow a tariqa," or "I'm from this or that family," but you're not following Allah's commands, there is no value in anything you do. Especially there are some people who say, "We don't pray but we perform dhikr all day, from morning until midnight without stopping." Even if you did this for a million years, it wouldn't equal a single takbir during prayer. We shouldn't just be proud, saying, "I'm from this family," or "I'm from that tariqa," while not doing anything. Instead, we should maintain good behavior and proper etiquette, following what Allah Azza wa Jalla commands, and be assured that Allah will be pleased with you, insha Allah. May Allah accept our religious practice, though it is incomplete, and may He be pleased with us, alhamdulillah. This is good news for people of the tariqa, especially the Naqshbandi tariqa, which holds together all other tariqas and protects them from deviating from shariah. It holds them all together, like a magnet. Without this, many of them, though still tariqas, sometimes deviate from the proper path. Some say, "We are from this tariqa and this is our way," but if it doesn't align with Allah's commands, there is no benefit. You must protect yourself from any bad intentions and anything outside of shariah. The Naqshbandi tariqa is a strong way in following the orders of Allah Azza wa Jalla. We thank Allah for this. Today, insha Allah, many people have completed the recitation of the Quran, performed salawat, recited their awrad. May Allah accept all of this. May these recitations be conveyed to Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

We thank our hosts for their hospitality. Their praise is, insha'Allah, for Allah, not for us. Anyone can be among the Awliya' Allah. Those who follow Allah's commands are Wali'Allah. Alhamdulillah, insha'Allah, may we all be among the Awliya' Allah together. We are happy to see this place. Allah Almighty says in the Quran: وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِۚ (5:2) Allah commands us to help each other in doing good deeds, to help people, and to benefit the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. So Alhamdulillah, we are happy with our brothers. Although this is our first time here, what they have accomplished is very good. May Allah bless them. When you see something done for Allah's sake in the midst of a place of disbelief, it brings joy. Why? Because it brings light to the place and benefits people, especially their first mosque, which is Allah's house - Baytullah, buyutullah mosque. Mosques are the houses of Allah Almighty. And in the past, sultans, scholars, and saints would build mosques and create spaces around them for people to come, listen, learn, and benefit. You could find everything beneficial for humanity there. Alhamdulillah, this is similar to the old tradition of establishing madrasas, hospitals, and feeding people. This is what pleases Allah. For the hereafter, this place prepares people for Paradise. Because there must be places for people to gather. And Alhamdulillah, here they not only gather but also encourage people to be with good company. Because some mosques are only used for prayer, with people leaving immediately afterward. But here, anyone can come and benefit from lessons in the Quran and tariqas. Alhamdulillah, they are open to all tariqas. They are not banning anyone. They don't say, "You're from that tariqa" or "You're from this tariqa, we don't like that, don't speak." Here there is nothing like this at all. This is how Muslims should be. Muslims should accept what people like when those things align with Allah's way and the Prophet's way. To follow and find good people. We grew up in Damascus, and Alhamdulillah, they have now cleaned the biggest mosque, the Umayyad Mosque. In each corner, you would find a scholar giving lessons. You might find 10 or 20 people because there were many scholars there. And they had their books, continuing every day at the same time, by themselves. Nobody gave them a salary or ordered them to do this. They were happy to do it. And as we said, each one might have 10, 50, 100, or even 200 people around them, listening and taking notes. Each place had one such teacher. This is good because people come not only to pray but also to learn. The mosque is very important. Besides this, if anybody asks something, they also provide answers for them. Alhamdulillah, now such practices are opening up again everywhere. May Allah make this place grow more and more. May Allah bless those who placed even one stone here and keep us together with you. May Allah bless them. We are sincerely praying for them from our hearts because they thought of and implemented this. In these times, we might think we cannot do such things. But insha'Allah, when Allah wants something, you can do it. Don't say it's just a beginning - Allah will continue it. Allah helps because this is for Him, to elevate His word higher, Ilay-i Kalimatullah. Allah surely helps. Alhamdulillah, many mosques are being established everywhere. And when people say they might not be able to finish, Allah opens the way and helps them finish. For this reason, Allah fulfills the intention of anyone who has pure intentions. The intention must be pure for Allah Almighty's sake, for helping people. Allah helps those who don't act from ego or to create discord among believers, or to establish ways different from what Allah Almighty has prescribed. Last year, Alhamdulillah, we were in Canada and went to pray Friday prayer. We passed through an industrial area where they said there was a mosque. So we went there to make Friday prayer. We passed by a very huge mosque with a dome and minaret, exactly in the Islamic style. I asked whether we are going there, they said no, they're not even following Allah's commands. They weren't even praying Friday prayers there. It was a real mosque, exactly like an Islamic mosque. But they said these people weren't even following Allah's orders. Nobody was around. After that, we went to a mosque that was perhaps originally a factory or storage space - a large place. But not originally a mosque. It was built as something else, perhaps for storage or as a factory. Alhamdulillah, we prayed Friday prayer there, and it was full. Perhaps a thousand people, and they said this was just the first Juma prayer today - there would be three in total. Three Juma sessions would be held. So Alhamdulillah, this shows that when intention is good, Allah is pleased with you. Because the hypocrites built a mosque in Medina. Allah was not pleased with it, as mentioned in the Noble Quran. Because their intention wasn't good, that mosque was demolished. Insha'Allah, may our mosques all have good intentions and may Allah accept them. May Allah be pleased with us because, Alhamdulillah, they especially have everything good for human beings. Muslims, non-Muslims - anyone can benefit, and they are blessed ones. This is what Allah commands. وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ (5:2) We help each other in doing good things and being mindful of Allah Almighty. But how can you be mindful of Allah if you have bad intentions? If you have bad intentions, Allah is not pleased with you. This relates to the first hadith - intention is very important. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ Indeed, deeds are judged by intentions. Even regarding migration, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said that whoever migrates for Allah and His Messenger, their migration is accepted as being for Allah and His Messenger. If someone migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then their migration is only for what they intended. Not for Allah and His Prophet, peace be upon him. May Allah make all our intentions for Allah and His Prophet, peace be upon him. Because this is what's truly valuable for us. We cannot take worldly things with us to the hereafter. The worldly life will remain in this world for other people. And you will only take with you what you did for the sake of Allah Almighty. May Allah make all our intentions throughout our lives for Allah Almighty. قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (6:162) We read this every time: our life, our death, our everything is for the sake of Allah, insha'Allah.
