A nikah can take place anywhere, as long as there are two witnesses and both parties accept to be husband and wife. With these two witnesses present, the nikah is complete, and they become lawful for each other. Without these requirements, a nikah cannot be valid. Sometimes people try to legitimize forbidden relationships by claiming they're performing a nikah. Some people who appear to be Muslim but are actually perverse claim they can perform a nikah. They say they can make a nikah with angels as witnesses. These aren't angels - they're devils. Many people are deceived by those who appear Muslim on the outside but have evil intentions within. This is a very important matter. After a proper nikah, it's also important to understand what marriage truly means. Marriage brings two different people together, and it can be challenging to become united. Each person has their own ideas and their own background. But they must understand that some things need to change. It's not about one person dictating how the other should live. Sometimes there are differences - you might dislike something they do, or they might dislike something you do. You must be patient. These days, people are quick to divorce and look for someone else. But now, divorce has become a serious problem in our time. It wasn't like this before. They say the divorce rate is between 60-80%. This is because people are looking outside their marriages and lack patience. So it becomes difficult. They say if you have a good wife and good children, you're in paradise. But if you have a bad spouse or difficult children, you'll cry every day as if you're in hell. When you have a marriage, strive to be good to each other. Every day I hear stories, especially about some followers who wear large turbans - even bigger than mine - who oppress their wives and throw them out. This is not right - we must do better. We must follow the best example we have - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He taught us through his relationship with his wives - he was gentle with them and made them happy. Spouses must follow this example with each other.

Alhamdulillah, we have reached this blessed day. May Allah accept our prayers and our faith. Now we are not claiming that we are doing good, we are just trying to obey Allah Azza wa Jalla. He has ordered us to pray, fast, give zakat, and follow all His commands. We can do these things, and Allah accepts them, because we are not claiming that we are doing the best. No, what we do is nothing except obeying the orders of Allah. This is the proper etiquette, adab, for human beings - they must have proper conduct and obey, even while knowing that what they do has no inherent value. The only value lies in following the orders of Allah Azza wa Jalla. هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي (27:40) This is the favor of Allah. He enables us to pray and come together for His love. He enables us to give charity, pay zakat, and go here and there for His sake. All of this comes from Allah's favor. Don't think you have done anything by yourself. We simply ask Allah for forgiveness and pray that He continues His favor upon us and all Muslims, granting them guidance. Of course, if you say, "I follow a tariqa," or "I'm from this or that family," but you're not following Allah's commands, there is no value in anything you do. Especially there are some people who say, "We don't pray but we perform dhikr all day, from morning until midnight without stopping." Even if you did this for a million years, it wouldn't equal a single takbir during prayer. We shouldn't just be proud, saying, "I'm from this family," or "I'm from that tariqa," while not doing anything. Instead, we should maintain good behavior and proper etiquette, following what Allah Azza wa Jalla commands, and be assured that Allah will be pleased with you, insha Allah. May Allah accept our religious practice, though it is incomplete, and may He be pleased with us, alhamdulillah. This is good news for people of the tariqa, especially the Naqshbandi tariqa, which holds together all other tariqas and protects them from deviating from shariah. It holds them all together, like a magnet. Without this, many of them, though still tariqas, sometimes deviate from the proper path. Some say, "We are from this tariqa and this is our way," but if it doesn't align with Allah's commands, there is no benefit. You must protect yourself from any bad intentions and anything outside of shariah. The Naqshbandi tariqa is a strong way in following the orders of Allah Azza wa Jalla. We thank Allah for this. Today, insha Allah, many people have completed the recitation of the Quran, performed salawat, recited their awrad. May Allah accept all of this. May these recitations be conveyed to Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

We thank our hosts for their hospitality. Their praise is, insha'Allah, for Allah, not for us. Anyone can be among the Awliya' Allah. Those who follow Allah's commands are Wali'Allah. Alhamdulillah, insha'Allah, may we all be among the Awliya' Allah together. We are happy to see this place. Allah Almighty says in the Quran: وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِۚ (5:2) Allah commands us to help each other in doing good deeds, to help people, and to benefit the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. So Alhamdulillah, we are happy with our brothers. Although this is our first time here, what they have accomplished is very good. May Allah bless them. When you see something done for Allah's sake in the midst of a place of disbelief, it brings joy. Why? Because it brings light to the place and benefits people, especially their first mosque, which is Allah's house - Baytullah, buyutullah mosque. Mosques are the houses of Allah Almighty. And in the past, sultans, scholars, and saints would build mosques and create spaces around them for people to come, listen, learn, and benefit. You could find everything beneficial for humanity there. Alhamdulillah, this is similar to the old tradition of establishing madrasas, hospitals, and feeding people. This is what pleases Allah. For the hereafter, this place prepares people for Paradise. Because there must be places for people to gather. And Alhamdulillah, here they not only gather but also encourage people to be with good company. Because some mosques are only used for prayer, with people leaving immediately afterward. But here, anyone can come and benefit from lessons in the Quran and tariqas. Alhamdulillah, they are open to all tariqas. They are not banning anyone. They don't say, "You're from that tariqa" or "You're from this tariqa, we don't like that, don't speak." Here there is nothing like this at all. This is how Muslims should be. Muslims should accept what people like when those things align with Allah's way and the Prophet's way. To follow and find good people. We grew up in Damascus, and Alhamdulillah, they have now cleaned the biggest mosque, the Umayyad Mosque. In each corner, you would find a scholar giving lessons. You might find 10 or 20 people because there were many scholars there. And they had their books, continuing every day at the same time, by themselves. Nobody gave them a salary or ordered them to do this. They were happy to do it. And as we said, each one might have 10, 50, 100, or even 200 people around them, listening and taking notes. Each place had one such teacher. This is good because people come not only to pray but also to learn. The mosque is very important. Besides this, if anybody asks something, they also provide answers for them. Alhamdulillah, now such practices are opening up again everywhere. May Allah make this place grow more and more. May Allah bless those who placed even one stone here and keep us together with you. May Allah bless them. We are sincerely praying for them from our hearts because they thought of and implemented this. In these times, we might think we cannot do such things. But insha'Allah, when Allah wants something, you can do it. Don't say it's just a beginning - Allah will continue it. Allah helps because this is for Him, to elevate His word higher, Ilay-i Kalimatullah. Allah surely helps. Alhamdulillah, many mosques are being established everywhere. And when people say they might not be able to finish, Allah opens the way and helps them finish. For this reason, Allah fulfills the intention of anyone who has pure intentions. The intention must be pure for Allah Almighty's sake, for helping people. Allah helps those who don't act from ego or to create discord among believers, or to establish ways different from what Allah Almighty has prescribed. Last year, Alhamdulillah, we were in Canada and went to pray Friday prayer. We passed through an industrial area where they said there was a mosque. So we went there to make Friday prayer. We passed by a very huge mosque with a dome and minaret, exactly in the Islamic style. I asked whether we are going there, they said no, they're not even following Allah's commands. They weren't even praying Friday prayers there. It was a real mosque, exactly like an Islamic mosque. But they said these people weren't even following Allah's orders. Nobody was around. After that, we went to a mosque that was perhaps originally a factory or storage space - a large place. But not originally a mosque. It was built as something else, perhaps for storage or as a factory. Alhamdulillah, we prayed Friday prayer there, and it was full. Perhaps a thousand people, and they said this was just the first Juma prayer today - there would be three in total. Three Juma sessions would be held. So Alhamdulillah, this shows that when intention is good, Allah is pleased with you. Because the hypocrites built a mosque in Medina. Allah was not pleased with it, as mentioned in the Noble Quran. Because their intention wasn't good, that mosque was demolished. Insha'Allah, may our mosques all have good intentions and may Allah accept them. May Allah be pleased with us because, Alhamdulillah, they especially have everything good for human beings. Muslims, non-Muslims - anyone can benefit, and they are blessed ones. This is what Allah commands. وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ (5:2) We help each other in doing good things and being mindful of Allah Almighty. But how can you be mindful of Allah if you have bad intentions? If you have bad intentions, Allah is not pleased with you. This relates to the first hadith - intention is very important. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ Indeed, deeds are judged by intentions. Even regarding migration, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said that whoever migrates for Allah and His Messenger, their migration is accepted as being for Allah and His Messenger. If someone migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then their migration is only for what they intended. Not for Allah and His Prophet, peace be upon him. May Allah make all our intentions for Allah and His Prophet, peace be upon him. Because this is what's truly valuable for us. We cannot take worldly things with us to the hereafter. The worldly life will remain in this world for other people. And you will only take with you what you did for the sake of Allah Almighty. May Allah make all our intentions throughout our lives for Allah Almighty. قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (6:162) We read this every time: our life, our death, our everything is for the sake of Allah, insha'Allah.

Tariqatuna s-sohbah, wa l-khayru fi l-jam'iyyah. This is from Naqshbandi Shaykh, Bahauddin Naqshbandi. He repeated this in every sohbah, making 12,000 sohbahs, every time. What is tariqah? It is to be together and to make sohbah, teaching the way of Allah Azza wa Jalla. What does Allah Azza wa Jalla like, what does He love? Awliyaullah means those whom Allah loves. Is it difficult to be awliyaullah? No, it is not difficult because Allah Azza wa Jalla shows us and tells us which people Allah loves. Allah says: اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيۡنَ (2:222) First, this one. What is tawwab? Making tawbah, asking forgiveness for what they have done. Allah loves them, He is happy with them. You can do anything, and when you come asking Me for forgiveness, I am happy to give you this forgiveness. This is what Allah Azza wa Jalla is saying. Not from ourselves, but from His Holy Book. The only book in the world coming from the Divine Presence of Allah Azza wa Jalla for humanity. He is saying this. Whoever asks for forgiveness is beloved to Allah. He is waliullah. This means Allah loves him. For this, we say to be awliyaullah, to be wali, is easy. People think being a wali means performing miracles, making karamat, doing this. This can also be, but if we want to be beloved to Allah Azza wa Jalla, we must ask for forgiveness. Because Allah is very happy and He loves us after this. What is Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam's famous ḥadīth about how Allah is happy with one who asks for forgiveness? He gives a very good example of how extreme happiness in this world can be. What is this example? It is like someone traveling in the desert. And in the desert, you must travel by camel. You cannot go one day without having these things with you: water, food, a place to stay. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam was on his camel, and he made the camel lie down with everything on it, and he slept there. When he woke up, he found no camel around. Nothing at all, not one drop of water, nothing, only himself in the desert where one cannot travel for maybe a month or 15 days or something like this. And he went looking around, looking everywhere, and he was very tired. After that, he fell asleep. And when he woke up, he found his camel standing by his head, waiting for him. How extreme was his happiness for this? He says, Allah Azza wa Jalla is even more happy when anybody asks forgiveness from Him. You can imagine how merciful Allah Azza wa Jalla is. This is the teaching of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam, teaching for ṭarīqah people. ṭarīqah people, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, are following and they are happy with this. But some people are not happy; we are not looking at them. We are looking at the Qur'ān and looking at the ḥadīth of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam. This is very important for us. After this, اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيۡنَ وَيُحِبُّ الۡمُتَطَهِّرِيۡنَ‏ (2:222) First thing before tahārah, because tahārah means cleaning, it is the first thing in Islam. But before this is asking for forgiveness. This is the beginning. After forgiveness comes tahārah. Cleaning yourself, making yourself clean to pray, to do ibadah. But the first thing is to ask for forgiveness. This is the most important. Allah Azza wa Jalla loves these people and He loves the clean people. Islam is the religion for humanity, the religion of Allah Azza wa Jalla. The best thing nowadays also, they say you should clean your hands, put some cream, use soap, put something on, you must be clean. But Allah Azza wa Jalla has ordered human beings to be clean from the beginning. And He cleans not only from the outside. The first thing is to clean the outside, to ask for forgiveness. This is the first cleaning, tahārah. Second tahārah is with water, to make ablution, to make ghusl, to do everything we must do for ibadah. This is our religion. The most important thing for human beings, especially for ṭarīqah. Ṭarīqah means light for people, which it is... May Allah make us from His beloved ones, in shā'a Llāh. May Allah make us from His awliyā'u Llāh. We are not looking for miracles or karāmah. We are only looking to be beloved to Allah ﷻ, pure for Allah ﷻ. Maybe for karāmah, meaning whoever asks for karāmah, asks for benefit for himself, not for... For this, we are not looking for karāmah. We are only looking to be beloved ones for Allah ﷻ, in shā'a Llāh. May Allah ﷻ bless you, may Allah ﷻ make all of us from His beloved ones, in shā'a Llāh.

Alhamdulillah, we are here for the love of Allah and love of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Alhamdulillah, thank you for the imam and for the munshid. This nasheed comes from his heart, for the Prophet, peace be upon him, for Mawlana Shaykh. May Allah bless him. Alhamdulillah, we gather here once every year. We come together once every year. But Alhamdulillah, it is a blessing for all of us to gather in the love of Allah and love of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Allah loves this gathering and praises us. He commands the angels to spread their wings beneath the feet of those who gather for His sake. This is a great honor for Muslims who understand its value. They must regularly attend majlis, dhikr, suhbah, and other gatherings - all are equally blessed. When you are present somewhere for Allah's sake, He becomes pleased and commands the angels to lay their wings for you to walk upon. Consider how special this is. It is truly an extraordinary honor for human beings. Many people wonder if they are truly worthy of such an honor. Yet know that you can achieve a station higher than the angels. When you follow the Prophet, peace be upon him, praising him and seeking his intercession, Allah grants you this elevated status. Alhamdulillah, today is especially blessed because we are in the month of Sha'ban, and [tonight] will be the fifteenth of Sha'ban, a month dear to our Prophet, peace be upon him. For this reason, Alhamdulillah, we are here to receive these special blessings. [Tonight] is blessed, and we should pray as much as we can. This night is mentioned in the Noble Quran: إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ (44:3) فِيهَا يُفۡرَقُ كُلُّ أَمۡرٍ حَكِيمٍ (44:4) This is mentioned in Surah ad-Dukhan, and it is in this night when Allah Almighty determines the affairs for the coming year. During this night, Allah writes the decree for each person: who will pass away, who will be born, who will receive provision, who will marry, who will face illness, who will receive guidance, who will be led astray, and who will be deceived by those who disrespect this blessed night. All of these decrees will be written by Allah the Almighty for each person [tonight]. The night begins after Maghrib prayer, as in Islam, each day starts at Maghrib and continues until the next Maghrib. You all know about Maghrib prayer. [Tonight], insha'Allah, between Maghrib and Isha prayers, you should recite Surah Yasin three times, each with a different intention: for a long and healthy life, for strong faith, and for halal provision. Each recitation should have its specific intention. You can recite in congregation if possible, and if not, you can recite alone. This is what our Mashaykh teach us. About this night, Allah the Almighty says: اللّٰهُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيُثۡبِتُ ۖ ۚ وَعِنۡدَهٗۤ اُمُّ الۡكِتٰبِ‏ (13:39) Allah can change what is decreed or leave it as it is. Therefore, we pray and make supplication for good things: For faith, good health, and provision, insha'Allah. Particularly, we should ask for halal provision - this is very important. A Muslim must ask this from Allah the Almighty. Allah's treasures are limitless. We need not worry that they will ever be depleted. In this world, even a wealthy person might worry about becoming poor if they give too much, but with Allah's treasures, this is never a concern. Allah the Almighty tells us not to be afraid or ashamed to ask from Him. Allah loves persistence in supplication, unlike us humans who become annoyed when someone repeatedly asks us for something until we say "enough!" But Allah the Almighty loves it when you persist - ask, and keep asking. Never feel ashamed or shy before Allah. Ask for whatever you need. You can make supplication at any time, but [tonight] is especially important to pray for the coming year - for health, life with faith, Islam, and provision, insha'Allah. This is truly important. Don't think it's improper to ask from Allah. Allah says: ادۡعُوۡنِىۡۤ اَسۡتَجِبۡ لَـكُمۡؕ This is a command - you must ask from Him. You can ask for anything, especially health, as many people suffer from illnesses or fear becoming ill. In our times, illness has become widespread. There are countless new diseases that we had never heard of before. Now they are common. For this reason, [tonight] between Maghrib and Isha, insha'Allah, we must perform this special worship. Afterward, insha'Allah, we will also have our regular Thursday night dhikr and khatm, and for this special night, there are one hundred units of prayer to perform. We must pray these prayers. Though this is not obligatory, we should not miss this opportunity to gain extra rewards. It's not easy, certainly, but it is within your capability. Normally, you should recite Surah Al-Ikhlas ten times in each unit of prayer. This would mean four hundred units of prayer would result in a thousand recitations of Al-Ikhlas. But Mawlana Shaykh, Alhamdulillah, understands that we lack such patience nowadays. He has advised that we can recite Al-Ikhlas twice in the first unit and once in the second unit. This way, you can complete three hundred recitations. Don't be lazy about this. You must overcome your ego, your nafs. You must strive to complete this worship. And there is something important you should know. There was once a blessed woman among the Awliya. May Allah bless her soul. Some of our English-speaking sisters often ask about the role of women. "Why are there women here?" "Why aren't there women among the Awliya and Prophets?" There are woman saints, and their rank was a hundred times, even a million times higher than many of us. One of them was Rabia Adawiyya. Everyone knows of her sanctity. This blessed woman would pray a thousand units of prayer every night. Meanwhile, we struggle to complete just one hundred units in a year. But there is something remarkable about her that you should know. When you complain, saying "I am tired" - consider this: Despite being a woman who fasted constantly, She lived on almost nothing, becoming skin and bones, yet she still performed a thousand units of prayer each night. We should feel ashamed of our excuses. While we, Masha'Allah, eat well and grow overweight. So, don't give in to laziness. This is a blessed opportunity you must take advantage of. Though we cannot maintain such worship throughout the year, may Allah accept our hundred units as if we had done them all year long, insha'Allah. This is truly a special time for everyone. Alhamdulillah, we have visited the maqam, and we have visited many of our murids - sincere people, good people. They were with us last year. But this year they rest in the mazar, in the cemetery. May Allah bless them, insha'Allah. May Allah grant them rewards from our good deeds as well. May Allah reward them, reward Mawlana, and reward all our ancestors, insha'Allah. May Allah keep you steadfast on this path, and don't listen to those who reject it. If you offer them gold, They refuse it. They say, "This is not good, we don't want gold." "We want only stone." "We want only iron." "We want only glass." They reject precious things and deceive people. Don't accept their claims. Their words are not true. What is true is what Allah the Almighty says. How can anyone deny His words? When the Prophet, peace be upon him, says something, how can anyone claim it is not true? Alhamdulillah, our way has remained unchanged since the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, for nearly 1450 years. It has not changed at all. But as for these others who make claims, many come and go, and no one remembers their names or anything about them. If anyone does remember them, it is only to speak of their misdeeds, not to praise them. But in our way, all Muslims praise their spiritual guides, pray for them, and seek blessings through them. This is, Alhamdulillah, the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him. This is Tariqah, the spiritual path. Tariq means "way" - the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Every authentic Tariqah follows this way. What we also say is that there are no Awliya, no blessed ones, outside of this way - the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him. You will not find a single one. If they claim their saint is not from the Prophet's way, don't believe them. Any true saint must be from the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him, the way of Tariqah. This is the truth; anything else is false. You must have a connection to the Prophet, peace be upon him. Without this connection, you cannot receive blessings or achieve anything spiritual. This is why those who reject this way may come and go quickly, leaving no lasting impact. May Allah guide them as well. We pray for the good of all humanity, both Muslims and non-Muslims. What is truly beneficial for all human beings, whether Muslim or non-Muslim? It is to follow the Prophet, peace be upon him, to save themselves and their families, insha'Allah. To save all of humanity. May Allah grant them guidance. May Allah bring people to His way, the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him, which contains all benefit and true happiness. Every good thing can be found in this way, the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him. There waas a man who was blind and paralyzed, unable to walk. Someone had to care for him constantly. Yet he would constantly say, "Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, shukran lillah, shukran lillah." Someone asked him, "For what are you saying Alhamdulillah and shukran lillah?" "You are in the most difficult situation." "You cannot walk, you cannot work, you cannot do anything. You are blind and paralyzed, you cannot even move." "Why?" "What blessing are you thanking Allah for?" They asked him. He replied, "No, Alhamdulillah, I am Muslim." "Allah has given me this tongue to speak, to praise Him." "This is the greatest blessing." "The other things don't matter to me," he said. This is how we should recognize what precious gifts we have. These are jewels, even more precious than gold. Not like those who prefer stone and iron and glass. O Allah, send us Sayyidina al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. We must also pray for this [tonight] night, every night, every day we must pray for him to save humanity. Because humanity is now approaching its end. There is no more humanity left, only ego and Satan. May Allah protect us from them, insha'Allah.

2025-02-11 - Other

Welcome to all of you. We are coming for the sake of Allah to meet good people. Which everybody wants to be among. Allah, the Almighty, created human beings pure and good. And He created the ego and created Satan. This is to be a test for human beings. Those who follow them will never be happy. Those who follow their ego and Satan do bad things first to themselves. Whatever you do, you do for yourself. If you do good things, you do them for yourself. If you do bad things, you also do them for yourself. This is what people must know. They know, but they are deceived. They think what they do is good for them. Afterward, they regret it. For this reason, Allah has sent His Messengers and Prophets. All these Prophets, from Adam, peace be upon him, until our Sayyidina Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, came to remind people not to do bad things and to remember their humanity. Humanity means to be good. You, as a human, are a good creature. But if you do bad things to people, even animals can be better than you. Animals only attack others to feed themselves. They eat. After that, they stop. When they are not hungry. But human beings are not like this. They are never satisfied. They want more and more and more. This is why many times animals are more merciful. They only take what they need. When they have enough, they rest until they need another meal, another food. They only run after their food. But human beings take everything and it's still not enough. They pursue others to kill them, to steal from them, to do bad things to them. Why? Because they have minds. But they use these minds for bad things, not for good things. But this life is for testing. For all human beings, there is another life as well. Which comes after death. It will be life, real life, forever. Not like this life, where you are born, then die, and become earth or ashes. You will not be... Now they also burn people. They become ashes. They say perhaps since we were created from earth, we can be recreated. But if we become ashes, we cannot be recreated. No, it can be done, no problem. For the Creator, He creates from nothing. So now there's no problem if you are ashes, or even if animals or other things consume you. Also, when the time comes, on the Day of Resurrection, all human beings will be restored. Again with blood, bone, and flesh. We will be again the same as this. And we will remember everything. Even those who forgot everything, no one will forget any moment. All of this will be shown to you, and you will be asked what you did, why you did it, and you will be either a winner or a loser. There are only two options there. No other... Is there a court? Yes, but no need for lawyers. Lawyers here can make right wrong, wrong right, white black, black green. They can do anything, lawyers. Why? Because earthly courts can be deceived. But that court cannot be deceived. Because everything will be revealed. They say even your body will witness against you. The Quran says that the body, hands, feet, everything will say, "Yes, you did this." And at that time, everything will be revealed. Not like this time. No, my hand cannot speak now. But everything will speak at that time. And the men or women will say, "You are my part." "Why do you bear witness against me?" They will reply, "Allah made us speak." "We cannot remain silent." "When He makes us speak, we speak truthfully." "You did this, you did that," and these people will be held accountable. Therefore, in this life, the important thing is to be good to everything – to humans, to animals, to nature, to everything. It is a command. Allah commands us to be good to everything. Don't go to extremes by harming anything, not just human beings. Anything you can harm, don't do it. Be careful. Live in this world peacefully and leave this world peacefully. You will be in peace in the next life, in peace forever. There will be no more death, sadness, illness, poverty, stress, nothing. This is forever. Some people ask, "How can it be forever?" Even now, many people live as if they will never die. You cannot imagine anyone saying, "I will die" and preparing for it. No. They just think life goes on the same, nothing will change. But after it will be... So this is preparation for eternal life. Allah prepares people in this world to think they will not die. This is a sign that the next life will be forever. No death, no bad things for good people. This is why we are living. And what do you lose by being good to people? Nothing. You will not lose anything. If you are bad to people, you will not gain anything either. You will not be happier, live longer, or receive any good things. If you are bad to people, you will become more anxious, more depressed, more afraid. This is what you will become. But if you are good to people, you will not lose anything and you will be a winner in the next life. This is what the Prophets taught through holy books, especially the last heavenly book, which is the Quran, and it is completely preserved, nothing less, nothing more. All that came from heaven, it is a miracle we can touch, we can read, we can understand. And all knowledge is within it. Knowledge of the first and the last, as they say, knowledge of the beginning and the end. All this technology, all these things we see come through the Quran, the knowledge of the Quran. Time by time, when something is meant to happen, permission and inspiration are given to people to create something new. We see everything now. People wonder how this can be. This happens by Allah's permission, saying now is the time for electricity, now for petroleum, now for atoms. Now there is knowledge which this knowledge is nothing in comparison. You cannot compare the knowledge of Allah with these things. We think it is too much. It is not much at all. It is only a little bit. And when the time comes, all this will also pass and knowledge will come which has never existed before. All this technology they speak of, computers and other things, will be nothing compared to that knowledge. This is from Allah's might, which is unlimited. And we must be fortunate because now we have the heavenly book from heaven – the Quran. And whoever reads it receives all good things, good knowledge, blessings, and health. Everything you want can be found in the Noble Quran. Of course, there are other books, the Bible and Torah, but most of them were written later and are not preserved like the Noble Quran. Because each one differs from the other. So the only heavenly book in the world is the Quran. And it teaches people everything from beginning to end. It is blessed, and nobody can change it, nobody can imitate it. The Arabs were skilled in poetry and thought this was poetry, thinking they could reproduce it. But the Quran challenges: even if everyone worked together, they couldn't create one sentence like it. It's impossible to create anything like it. And for this reason, among the thousands of miracles of the Prophet, the Quran is the greatest miracle. Allah, we thank Allah for this great gift to humanity. It is light, it is a blessing for all humanity. May Allah place it in our hearts. We make this prayer to Allah. We pray that He makes it illuminate the whole world, insha'Allah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is warning the ummah to be vigilant and not be deceived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Lā yuldaghu l-mu'minu min juḥrin wāḥidin marratain." This means a believer should not be bitten by a snake from the same hole twice. This refers to those times when one had to be particularly careful not to get bitten by a snake from the same earth hole twice. One must be cautious. This teaching applies to all aspects of life, not just snake bites. Today, we rarely encounter snakes that could bite us. However, there are things more dangerous than snakes. There are shayateen, evil forces. They attempt to take everything from you – your wealth, your property. And many other things. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tells us to remain vigilant. Guard yourself and your possessions. Protect what you have, for it is a gift from Allāh, especially your īmān. Do not let others deceive you and take away your īmān. Stay alert and avoid being deceived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) often spoke of how we inattentively look here and there, in different directions. We have strayed from the right path and taken many different routes. These bring no benefit, only harmful things and teachings. Therefore, you must remain vigilant. It is narrated that a bedouine came to the Prophet's mosque and left his camel outside. After praying, he went out intending to mount his camel and depart. But he could not find it. He searched everywhere and complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "My camel has disappeared. I just left it here." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Where did you leave it? Did you tie it?" The man replied, "No." "I left it here at this holy place. I thought it would remain here. I assumed it would not go anywhere." To this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) responded, "'aqil wa tawakkal." First, take precautions. 'Aqil means to tie it. 'Aqil wa tawakkal - first secure it, then trust in Allāh. Had you tied it and someone took it, you would have had the right to complain. But you ignored what needed to be done, and now you complain. This is your mistake. Yet through the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) mercy, the man found his camel after this incident. Many people are unaware of this part of the story. They only mention the lost camel, but everything in the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) life contains profound lessons for us. Especially this teaching of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): 'aqil, 'aqil wa tawakkal. 'Aqil means to tie. It also means to use your intellect, your mind, your wisdom. 'Aqil comes from the word for intellect. You must use it. Allāh did not create the mind merely for eating and existing. Animals can do that, but they lack the ability to discern between what should and should not be done. Allāh gave them just enough intelligence to eat, drink, and recognize danger. This is what Allāh granted them. But to humans, Allāh gave intelligence to care for themselves and their families. Today, many people are repeatedly deceived by those who mislead them. They promise, "We will do this, we will accomplish that." After taking their money, they do nothing. It becomes their responsibility - whoever possesses something must discern whether it is beneficial or harmful. For this is Allāh's ni'mah, His blessing. He gave you this, so be mindful. Do not allow deceivers and fraudsters to take your wealth. If you are wise, you will not give your money to fraudsters. By withholding this money, you protect the fraudster from consuming ḥarām, from eating ḥarām, and from feeding their family with ḥarām. When they consume ḥarām, they become corrupted, and you share some responsibility because you enabled them to consume ḥarām through your money. This is crucial to understand. The Awliyā'u Llāh and the ṣaḥābah never consumed anything ḥarām. Particularly Imāmu l-A'ẓam Sayyidinā Abu Ḥanīfah never accepted invitations, for example. Though people would invite him, he never dined outside or elsewhere. He would not even accept gifts. Such was their way. Many would insist, swearing, "This is not ḥarām, this is completely ḥalāl, please partake of this." Never. He would not eat. Many of the Awliyā'u Llāh and ulamā' were extremely careful not to consume even a morsel because they didn't want to risk consuming anything questionable or ḥarām. One of them, upon learning the source of food he had eaten, began vomiting, saying, "What is this? Where did this come from?" He had assumed it was from his home. They told him, "Someone sent this for you." No, even his body would reject anything questionable. This emphasizes the importance of providing pure, clean sustenance for our children. If people deceive others and rejoice, saying "We fooled someone today, we took a thousand pounds from them," and then buy kebab, burgers, and various foods for their household. But this is not nourishment. This is poison. Would anyone deliberately feed poison to their children? Not poison - they wouldn't even serve spoiled food to their children. This is why from the beginning of this ṣuḥbah we emphasized being wise and using your intellect. Not everything you acquire benefits you. Many things are poisonous to you. They will destroy you, they will harm you. This is Allāh's law. Why does Allāh say "Kulū ḥalālan ṭayyiban" - eat what is ḥalāl and pure? Ḥalāl gives you strength, health, and happiness. Ḥarām does the opposite - it brings illness, sadness, and every misfortune to you and your family. Afterward, you will regret and wonder what happened to these children, what happened to my family, why they are miserable and troubled. We question life itself. Do not wonder. Simply do what is right and you will be safe, in shā'a Llāh. Nothing more. Of course, Allāh forgives what we do unknowingly. But if you persist knowing something is ḥarām, be cautious. Be mindful and distribute what you received unknowingly, for we have another realm where nothing remains hidden. Everything will be revealed openly on the Day of Resurrection, and people will witness what each man or woman has done. The angels will declare to these people by Allāh's command. "This person deceived you, stole from you, wronged you." "But I thought this person was my friend, I believed they were righteous." No, they will say this is what they did to you, so you have the right to take from their good deeds. Such is the nature of this world. In this life, while alive, one can save themselves by seeking forgiveness from those they cheated and wronged. If this is left for the ākhirah, it becomes a grave matter. As mentioned, everything will be exposed there. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaks of people who will come with good deeds as vast as mountains, but then others will come forward saying they were wronged, and their good deeds will be given away as compensation. More will come, and more. One after another. Until all these mountain-like good deeds are depleted. Yet still there remain many in line whom they cheated, whose money they took without their knowledge. With no good deeds remaining, what happens? They are bankrupt. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says the sins of those they wronged will be placed upon them. This becomes their deficit. One after another, until they are laden with sins, and then they receive what they deserve. For they thought they were only gaining and were pleased. But in the ākhirah, nothing remains. We are not without justice. Justice prevails, with each receiving their due before proceeding to their destination. Therefore we say, be careful not to make these people suffer in the ākhirah. This matters more than what you might lose. Show mercy to these people. Do not let them follow their ego's desires or shaytan's commands. Shaytan only guides them toward hellfire. A Muslim must show mercy to their Muslim brother, offer sincere advice. If advice is not heeded, warn others to be cautious of such a person. They harm themselves before harming others. So be vigilant, prevent them from harming themselves. In Istanbul, there is a great bridge over the Bosphorus. People sometimes come there intending to jump. You see police and crowds of 100 or 200 people blocking traffic, causing severe congestion. What causes this? Someone wanting to end their life. But people strive to save them. This illustrates why we must be mindful of preventing people from harming themselves. Be vigilant, for shaytan now teaches people to act recklessly, without fear. Such people are increasing in number, showing no fear. You must prevent them from harming both you and themselves. This too is an Islamic obligation. When ḥarām proliferates in society, its effects touch everyone. Therefore, we must be vigilant. It's not enough to say, "We are Muslim, we are merciful, we can let it be." No. We must inform people, even if problems persist despite our warnings. But Allāh sees everything; nothing can remain hidden. This is why Allāh grants the believer light through their good and ḥalāl actions. Without this, there is no light. Darkness and evil prevail. May Allāh protect us from such people and grant guidance to all. For faith diminishes, and people increasingly fail to distinguish between ḥarām and ḥalāl. Even among those who pray, this is crucial regarding inheritance. Allāh shows in the Quran and hadith that you must give everyone their rightful share when someone passes. They say al-mu'taq, al-mīrāth ḥalāl. Inheritance must be ḥalāl for everyone. This too is essential. It's not only about those who deceive you. If you have inheritors in your family, you must act with justice. When finished, everyone should express their satisfaction to others. We should all seek contentment for each other. Seeking forgiveness for any discrepancies, to ensure blessings for all. Without this, it becomes a curse and brings no good. Many times with Mawlana Shaykh, I observed people seeking what they couldn't have, what wasn't right for them, and Mawlana would remind them, "Your health is more valuable than anything." Once, the wealthiest person in a country - Mawlana often told her story - she complained about her father-in-law leaving money to others, to that woman, to this boy, millions. Mawlana Shaykh would say, "Your health is more precious." I witnessed this many times. She kept complaining. After a year, Subhanallah, she developed cancer. She passed away six months later. This too was karama for Mawlana. She was, alhamdulillah, rahmatullah alayha, a virtuous lady. But when money is involved, anyone - man or woman - can give their wealth to whomever they choose. This is permissible. Just or unjust, it's allowed, not ḥarām. But afterward, when you demand from this, especially under Roman law, nothing can be reclaimed from you. No law or internet can help them take it back. But when they take this, they take from rightful owners. They steal it, or take it by force. This will not benefit you. I've witnessed many such cases with Mawlana. Even when Muslims, murids acquire wealth, they forget Allāh, forget Sharia, forget the Prophet. They say, "This is our country's law." "If they don't accept this, we can go to court and take it quickly." This is wrong. Moreover, some who receive inheritance withhold it from their siblings. This too is ḥarām. They take others' rights, making it ḥarām. What they consume becomes poison. So as we said from the start of this ṣuḥbah, use your mind. Be wise, avoid foolishness. Don't be ignorant. Those who act thus are foolish and ignorant. May Allāh protect us from ignorance, insha Allah.

The Tariqa orders us to be together. This is a command for Muslims to be good people and to stay united. Because in Akhirah too, they will be together. As the Holy Quran Azimushan says, one will be with their friends in Jannah. People who love each other will be together. Someone in Jannah was wondering about his friend from dunya. This friend used to say, Do you really believe that after death, when you become earth and dust... That you will come back to life again? He would say, I wonder, how is this possible? As he wondered in Jannah about this friend, Allah showed him what had happened. He saw his friend in hell, among the fire. And looking at him, saying: You nearly succeeded in making me like you. Because in dunya, you were always telling me: This cannot be true, you cannot believe in this. This is not possible. I don't believe. I will do my own thing, go my way. I am enjoying myself in dunya. After this, I will be dust. It is impossible to become a human being again. He was so proud of this. You almost succeeded in misleading me. You almost made me become like you. But now you are suffering in hell. This is what happens when you spend too much time with people of dunya. Sometimes they can plant seeds of doubt in your heart. For this, you must keep distance from those who are strongly against Allah Azza wa Jalla and Prophet s.a.w. We should be with good people. This is why we say: Tariqatuna as-Suhbah, wal-Khairu fil-Jamiyyah. Jamiyyah means to be together, Insha Allah. May Allah keep our jamiyyah, our gathering, forever, Insha Allah. Forever, Insha Allah. May Allah bless you, Allah give you long life Insha Allah. With iman, Islam, happiness, you and your family also, Insha Allah. This is very important, Alhamdulillah. May Allah give this nimah for us. And give to others also Insha Allah.

Alhamdulillah, we are meeting here with our fellow mu'min, mu'minat, muslim, muslimat, all following different paths of tariqa. Some follow Naqshbandi, some Qadiri, Rifa'i, Badawi, Chishti - all together, all groups heading toward Allah Azza wa Jalla. This is the way of Allah. And Imam Hazrat he said, Awliya Ahlus Sunnah there is no Awliya out of Ahlus Sunnah, no Awliya. It's clear - all Awliya are from Ahlus Sunnah. Those who who do not accept the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, who do not accept Ahlul Bayt, who do not accept the Sahaba - such people cannot be from among the Awliya. This is a fundamental principle that cannot be changed. The true Awliya are, insha'Allah, only with Ahlus Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah. They make false claims about saints rejecting the Sahaba. This is impossible. We frequently encounter places where false claims are made about Awliya. Take Beirut as an example. There was a war and the entire bazaar was burned and destroyed. Under one building there was a maqam. This building was under someone's control who built around it to hide it. He hid it because if people saw it, they would take his shop since it was waqf property that couldn't be sold or used privately. So he concealed it. When the building was destroyed, this maqam was revealed. And those who don't accept the Sahaba took control of it. Thousands of people came to visit, saying various things. After many months, they discovered this maqam belonged to someone from Ahlus Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah. They quickly disappeared from there. Nobody came anymore. This is just one example; there are many such examples. Without following the Prophet's way, which requires loving both Ahlul Bayt and his Sahaba, you cannot be from Ahlus Sunnah. This is a fundamental truth they cannot fulfill. Therefore, they cannot attain the station of Awliyaullah. Alhamdulillah, the true Awliyaullah are from Ahlus Sunnah wa l-Jama'ah. All Awliyaullah possess karama. All of them. However, in our Naqshbandi tariqa, they don't typically display karama. They prefer not to. They say this is not our way. But other tariqas, masha'Allah, display many miracles. Even now they can manifest these karama - for saints it's called karama, for Prophets we call it mu'jiza. There's a difference between karama and mu'jiza. Mu'jiza is for Prophets, karama is only for Awliyaullah. In the Naqshbandi way, following the example of Shaykh Bahauddin Naqshbandi and all our great masters, we do not display karama to validate our teachings. Rather, karama manifests through them naturally, without seeking or announcement, unlike those who speak of karama and demonstrate it immediately. As Shaykh Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the Imam of our Tariqa, says, we preserve this power for the hereafter. For making intercession for the ummah in the hereafter. When people would come to Mawlana Shaykh seeking help, his way was to make dua. The Awliya make dua to Allah for the sake of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when people come with their belief in Allah. People come with their needs and sincere hearts. And through the people's sincerity and itiqad that the Awliyaullah are beloved to Allah, their prayers are accepted through the Awliya's dua. Thus, Allah's acceptance flows from His love for His devoted servants, insha'Allah. Mawlana Shaykh has many karama that came without asking or announcing. He wouldn't say, "Jump from here, nothing will happen to you." Or "Do this and that will happen." No! Just his advice and good guidance. If you follow it, you will receive what you seek. It's not like a vending machine where you put something in and immediately get something out. No! When you ask, you must believe sincerely and be patient. You ask and then wait. When Allah wills, it will happen, insha'Allah. This is the way of Naqshbandi tariqa. Other tariqas have permission to perform many karama among people, and there's no problem with that. But for Naqshbandi, as we said, we're not permitted to perform karama directly. However, if anyone intends harm to the Shaykh or Muslims, they may be struck by the Shaykh's karama. There are countless such karama. Even now, every day we hear from people about Mawlana Shaykh, who lived for 92 years. But when you hear about his karama, you'd think he lived for 500 years or more. Everyone tells us about his karama and how Mawlana spoke to them, though it seems impossible. This too is karama without being apparent. Only to help believers and Muslims. And Alhamdulillah, those who follow this path spread goodness, happiness, and Islam throughout the world. This is also a great karama - to plant belief and faith in people's hearts. To place the light of Islam in their hearts. This is the greatest karama. Just as Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had countless miracles. But the greatest miracle is the Quran. The Quran which might seem easy to replicate. But Allah Azza wa Jalla says that even if all mankind, jinn, and other creatures came together, they couldn't produce even one sentence like the Quran. Many people after Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam claimed to be prophets and produced something, but people just laughed at them. Because the people of Arabia, Hijaz spoke Arabic and were very skilled in poetry and eloquent speech. Yet the entire world was astonished by the Glorious Quran. Even the unbelievers, when Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in Makkah - of course there was no electricity then. They would come to where Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in Dar al-Arqam. Listening to the Quran, they were drawn to it like magnets and became very happy because they loved poetry, yet they admitted they couldn't produce anything like this. Therefore, the Quran is also the greatest miracle from Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for all humanity, and it contains oceans of meaning. Allah Azza wa Jalla says that no pen or ink could be sufficient to describe what the Quran contains. This is a miracle, and it's also a miracle for the Awliya' Allah to follow the Quran and transmit its light to people. To guide people away from wrong paths where many sell themselves for this world. They abandon the hereafter, selling it for this world. They claim to be prophets, they claim to bring something new to Islam. Saying we don't understand Islam, we must modernize it. We must discard this hadith, that verse - they deceive people. For this reason, the strongest defenders of Islam and Muslims - Allah defends them - are the Awliya' Allah. Awliya' Allah, Alhamdulillah, there is something people don't know. At all times there are 124,000 Awliya in the world. 124,000 Prophets have come. For each Prophet there is one Wali in this world. They are alive. When one passes away, another takes their place. Because they have a mission. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Through them you receive rain, through them you receive provision, through them you receive victory." The Prophet is saying that through these men of Allah, these Awliya' Allah, Allah sends rain, provision, and victory. Therefore, the earth is not empty. Allah Azza wa Jalla does not leave the earth only for Satan and his followers. The greatest battle is constant - the fight against oneself. This is the true jihad we must perform. Jihad is not just fighting against others - it is primarily the struggle against your own ego. This is Jihad al-Nafs, the greater jihad. Understanding this is crucial because we face a most dangerous war. A war more devastating than any fought with weapons. So we are all engaged in this jihad, striving to control our ego, to master ourselves. To avoid being defeated by these people, you must stand firm. Children, young people, and old people alike. Every day we hear stories that make you unhappy. Not just young people, but old people too following their ego, doing wrong things. It's shameful for anyone to do this. Therefore, whoever controls themselves is in jihad and receives the reward of a mujahid, insha'Allah. First, you must conquer your ego, not kill people. Your ego is more dangerous than others. If you conquer your ego, others can't affect you. Nothing will affect you. This is our war. Not with weapons, but with our strong will. We must strengthen our will, not allowing even a minute to follow the ego. Don't follow your ego at all. Always be strong and fight against your ego. Until it surrenders, saying "I am here." But don't be deceived - it can quickly rise up if you turn your back. It will jump on you and defeat you. With the blessing of the Awliya and shaykhs, insha'Allah, by listening to their advice, you will always be prepared. Not deceived by your ego. May Allah help us. We are truly in terrible times. Why terrible times? We have everything - cars, planes. In the past, people couldn't afford to travel by plane. We have plenty of food. Masha Allah, everyone here is overweight. So what makes these terrible times? It's that every forbidden thing is easily accessible. Doing what's forbidden is so easy. It's real and incredibly easy. In just one second you can find every forbidden thing to do. This is why we call these terrible times. In the past, you couldn't find these things. You had to search and ask around. Now there's no need to ask. In just one minute you can find everything. This is why we say these are terrible times. May Allah keep us safe from these times, insha'Allah. Keep safe the old, young, and children, insha'Allah. May Allah protect us also, insha'Allah. Don't say, "We are imams, we are shaykhs, we are..." This ego - the more status you have, the stronger your ego can become. So be careful and always ask Allah to keep us safe. To be with us, to give us victory over our ego, insha'Allah.
