Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens, the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But man undertook it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant. (33:72) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to carry it; they shied away from it. This Trust is the responsibility of man to serve Allah. This Trust, which not even the mountains wanted to accept. The mountains, the rocks, nothing could carry it; they said: 'This Trust is too great a burden.' But man said: 'I will take it upon myself.' He did so, but Allah says of him: 'He is truly ignorant.' He is unjust and ignorant, an oppressor. For not every human can carry this Trust. Only the prophets can carry this burden, and through them, it is made easier for the people. Only in this way can people endure. But most do not do this. Man does what serves his convenience and pleasure. To be on the path of Allah and to do what Allah commands is difficult for man. Most people invent all sorts of excuses to flee from it. If you make mistakes while reading the Quran, it does not harm the original. For it is preserved (mahfuz). It is preserved by Allah. This means that even if you accidentally read it incorrectly or forget it, the original Quran will not be corrupted, because Allah protects it. But you must transmit the Hadith correctly. We have read this verse, for in Allah's creation there is an order, a secret. Allah offered the mountains, the heavens, the earth, everything, to carry this Trust, but they refused. They said: 'We cannot carry this; it is too heavy.' 'We cannot carry this.' Only man accepted it. Why? Because he is very unjust and very ignorant. This is a characteristic of man. Of course, the prophets, the righteous, and the servants beloved by Allah are excluded from this. But the majority is like this. They accept it, but after having agreed, they do not fulfill this obligation. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, created the souls and asked: 'Am I not your Lord?' They said... Some of them did not accept it. But in the end, they all accepted it. And back then, everyone made this promise before Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, but later most did not keep it. They do not keep their word. That is why it is important to stay on this path our entire lives. And Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, commands us to obey Him. If you do not obey, you fall out of the circle, have broken your word, and will not be considered an accepted, good servant in the presence of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. For Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, loves only those who obey Him. Sometimes people say: 'Allah does not love us.' Allah does love, but in truth, you do not love yourselves. What have you done for your own salvation? Allah has shown you everything, given you all that is good, but you oppose it. That is your own fault. You are punished because you punish yourselves. That man does not remain steadfast on the path and does not keep his word is one of his characteristics. The entire history of humanity has always been full of such people. And none of them are here anymore; they had only a short life, and then their end came. Soon they will see the truth. The truth of life, which Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, showed them... And they will regret what they have missed. This applies to all people, whether Muslims or non-Muslims. But there are also arrogant people who feel superior to others. For example, such believing Muslims say: 'I am this, I am that, I am a sheikh, I am a representative.' That is why Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has said: 'Do only what you are capable of.' Do not burden yourselves with heavy loads. Do not demand anything that gets you into trouble. That is why many people are dissatisfied with their situation. They want to be bigger, higher, or more famous. This is especially typical of the people of our time; they want to be famous at all costs. Just to be famous, they do everything, without distinguishing between good and evil. Therefore, do not try to do something you cannot do. And people push each other aside to climb even higher. But that is of no use to you. You do this only for your ego. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, is not pleased with this, and neither is the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pleased with it. Only for your ego do you want to go higher. Ordinary people might want to become members of parliament, presidents, or something else. Also, many people from the Tariqas ask: 'How can I become a sheikh? How can I become a saint?' Actually, it is very easy to achieve that. Just follow what Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has commanded, and think of nothing else. If Allah gives you your provision, you are happy with your family, and you perform your worship, then that is the greatest grace from Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. To maintain this until the last breath is the greatest reward for you. If you want to strive for something, then strive for that. Without looking up, down, or to the side. Concentrate only on yourselves, your brothers, and your family; it is enough if you keep your own affairs in order. It is not necessary to want to make leaps to climb even higher. If you are steadfast on this path, as the great ones said: 'Ajallu al-karamat, dawamu at-tawfiq.' The greatest miracle is to consistently stay on the same path without faltering. It is also not necessary to strive for higher things. This alone is sufficient for you until the end of your life. If you do this, you will be among the winners. If Allah wants you to ascend, He will open the doors for you. And if He does not want it, but you continue this way your whole life, you are still a servant beloved by Allah. May Allah make us firm on this path and not let us follow our ego. For the right to praise oneself belongs only to Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. 'I am this, I am that.' 'I am a Wali, I am the Qutb, I am a sheikh, I am a representative.' That is also not right. The right to praise oneself belongs only to Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, always praises Himself. Even the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'I am the master of the sons of Adam, and that is no boast.' He said: 'Lâ fahr.' Although he announces his rank, he adds 'Lâ fahr' (no boast). 'No, there is no pride in that for me.' To Allah alone, the Mighty and Exalted: Wa lahu al-kibriya'u fi as-samawati wal-ard (45:37) In the heavens and on the earth and everywhere, majesty belongs to Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Therefore, someone who praises himself is not accepted anywhere. Whether in a Tariqa or not, nobody likes someone who praises himself. May Allah protect us from this characteristic, insha'Allah.

And if they had stood firm on the right way, We would have certainly granted them abundant water. (72:16) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: “If they were on the right path, there would be enough of everything for mankind, even more than enough.” As long as one is on the right path, Istiqama, Allah has given everyone their provision. But mankind does not stay on the right path, Istiqama. The right path, Istiqama, means uprightness. If everyone were on the right path, deceiving no one, causing no one harm, and minding their own affairs, Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, would have given everyone enough. But mankind cannot stay on the right path because they follow these four enemies: Nafs (ego), Hawā (desires), Shaitan (Satan), and Dunyā (the world). They cannot remain in uprightness. They cannot remain in justice; they do not apply justice. That is why the world becomes a torment for everyone. And for those who do not stay on the right path, this torment is even greater. The more crooked, false, and wrong things they do, the more they stray from the path, and this brings them no benefit whatsoever. Materially speaking, they have a life without blessings. That is, man leads a life without blessings. The state of the world is always like this nowadays. There are schools, madrasas, universities. What do they teach? Supposedly, they teach what is right. While they teach what is right, they ultimately teach even more of what is not right. They guide people according to their will, by saying: "If you do this, you earn so much; if you do that, you earn more." And after that, they have gained nothing. They have obtained nothing but harm. And what they obtain is nothing but evil. Because the right path must correspond to the command of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. If it does not correspond to the command of Allah, this so-called right path will inevitably become a means of straying from the path in the end. That is why the right path is important. If people were to follow the right path—the world's population is now supposedly 8 billion—this provision would be enough even for 80 billion. But in this state, it is not even enough for them. That is why they devour each other. They devour each other with the thought, “I'll devour him before he devours me,” they do not trust one another, and they stray from the path. And on top of that, they talk about and display what they do as if it were a great art, and thereby also lead others astray. A person who leads others astray is also burdened with the sin of all those who have gone astray because of him. May Allah protect us from that. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, explains this topic of the right path, the topic of uprightness, repeatedly in the glorious Quran. First and foremost, the Muslim must do this. And Muslims are, unfortunately, the people who are furthest from the right path. May Allah give them all guidance. And may Allah protect us from the evil of the Nafs, the evil of Hawā, and the evil of Shaitan.

Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, teaches us in the hadith that we recited during the Friday sermon: He turned to his faithful companion Anas and said: 'If you are able to live from morning until evening without holding any malice in your heart towards anyone, then do so. For that is my Sunnah,' said the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet continued: 'Whoever lives my Sunnah, loves me.' 'And whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise.' Herein lies the essence of Islam. This is what every Muslim should strive for. Deceive no one. Harm no one. Whether near or far—wish every person well. To follow the Sunnah of the Prophet without harboring evil thoughts for selfish reasons. The Sunnah of our Prophet is the foundation of the Tariqa. To love the Prophet, to follow his path, and to live according to his Sunnah—this is the basis of good manners, Adab. The Tariqa is based on good manners, Adab. And good manners mean good character. Good character means: doing good and always thinking positively. Not to let evil arise in the heart and to stay away from what is bad. Wish good for people, so that good may come to you as well. This is how you can be with our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in Paradise. That is our highest goal. Man often asks himself: 'Why was I created?' You were created for exactly this purpose. Allah sent you to earth to prepare you for the Hereafter. He sent you into this world so that you may follow His path. Had you been created for another purpose, there would already be countless other creatures for that. The animals are like that—they only eat and drink. Their existence is limited to eating, drinking, and dying. They have no higher purpose. They do not think: 'I should do good.' But man must think about this. For our Prophet is the role model for humanity and the noblest of all creatures. We must take him as our role model and follow his path. Whoever follows his path, wins. But whoever does not follow his path, but someone who does not walk on Allah's path, cannot do any good for himself. He may suffer harm, but he will never profit from it. If you follow someone who is not on Allah's path, you may see a short-term benefit, but in the end, the harm outweighs it. That is why it is so important to stay on Allah's path. We must remain on the path of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. We must adhere to the Sunnah of our Prophet. That is what matters. For the paths of Satan are many. Today there are many new movements whose followers claim: 'We are also Muslims.' Yes, they are Muslims, but they do not recognize the blessing of this path. They even call it a 'sin' to benefit from this path. They claim: 'Whoever follows the Sunnah deviates from the right path.' They lead the people astray with the words: 'The Prophet was just a human being like us.' These are the ones who belittle the Prophet and deceive the people. When they hold him in such low esteem, neither love nor reverence for our Prophet remains in their hearts. And that will be their downfall in the Hereafter. But even in this world, they have a hard time. For their hearts are full of falsehood, lies, and hatred. They do not wish people well, but plot evil. They say: 'Allah forgives, we do not forgive.' Such are these people. May Allah protect us from their malice. For their malice is the malice of Satan. Allah is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, teaches: 'Do not even have the intention to deceive someone.' Do not even allow the thought: 'I want to deceive this person.' May Allah unite us with our Prophet, insha'Allah. Insha'Allah, we too will walk on His path and follow His Sunnah. This is the Tariqa. Tariqa means 'path'. And this path is the path of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

Whatever mercy Allah may grant to humanity, none can withhold it; and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. (35:2) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: "When Allah sends His mercy, no one can stop it, no one can hold it back." Everything that we see is an expression of His mercy; rain is also referred to as mercy. This is Allah's mercy for the people, for the earth, for everything. It has not rained for months. Not just here, but everywhere, the rain fails to come. Well then, go ahead and do it! You have developed so much technology, you say, "We know so much" – go on, make it rain! It doesn't work. And when He withholds His mercy, no one can grant it in His place. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also says this in a Hadith. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has created this world and provided it with everything it needs. This happens out of Allah's wisdom; it is not the work of some know-it-alls. Allah has created it and provided for its needs. Whatever this earth needs, He has given it everything. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says that within any 24-hour period, it is always raining somewhere on earth. There is precipitation. But Allah makes it rain where He determines and where He wills. Some people consider themselves very clever; they say, "Water evaporates, becomes clouds, and then rains back down." While that is true, it evaporates, becomes clouds, and it rains, but this happens where and how Allah wills it. So this world gets its share; within 24 hours, precipitation certainly falls somewhere. But it just doesn't rain where you want it to. Some places remain bone-dry, while others He inundates with floods and rain. This too shows the power of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Those who are believers believe in it. Those without faith, on the other hand, look for excuses like "it was because of this, it was because of that." But in truth, all of this is Allah's mercy. So what is needed? One must obey Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, and implore His mercy in prayer. One must pray so that Allah sends one His mercy. And what causes a prayer to be answered? Not every prayer is answered immediately, but when one sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then these are answered. If one sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the beginning and at the end of one's supplication, the prayer in between will also be answered. For blessings are always accepted by Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Now you see how people go out for the rain prayer. There are some who send blessings, but in some places, they do not acknowledge the high station and honor of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with Allah. They say, "He was just a human like us," perform the rain prayer, and make their supplications without sending blessings. And afterwards, they complain, "We have prayed so many times, but it just doesn't rain." No wonder it doesn't rain. If you don't say "for the sake of the Prophet," it will come to nothing. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was still a child, a little boy, and there was a drought, prayer was made for his sake and the whole desert turned green. But if you don't do that, if you don't believe in it, then you simply get the drought. Allah makes it rain in the middle of the sea while you wait and come away empty-handed; no rain. In one place He makes it rain and floods it, while another place gets nothing. That is the power and majesty of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. He does what He wills. No one can compel Him to do anything. Neither technology nor anything else can make it rain. Therefore, when the mercy, that is, the rain, falls, one should recognize that this is Allah's grace and favor, and rejoice in it. One should be grateful and say, "May Allah make it last." Because through gratitude, blessings multiply and are preserved. But when gratitude is lacking... nowadays most people show no gratitude, but only complain. They are dissatisfied with the blessings they have, but still demand mercy. Do you want to pick a fight with Allah, the Mighty and Exalted? Go ahead, pick a fight as much as you want; in the end, you will only harm yourself. May Allah protect us from that. May Allah preserve His blessings for us. Truly, for the last one or two years, both our spiritual state and the general situation of the people have been very bad. That is why this mercy is being withheld. Therefore, we must repent, plead for forgiveness, and pray to Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, so that He increases His blessings and preserves them for us, if Allah wills. Because this matter of water is no small thing. ...from water every living thing. (21:30) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: 'We have created every living creature from water.' All these living creatures cannot exist without water. Water is life, and life is a gift from Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Let us therefore thank Allah, may Allah increase it, insha'Allah. May He forgive us. We are all sinners. May Allah accept our repentance and our pleas for forgiveness and send us His mercy out of His compassion, insha'Allah.

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female (49:13) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: 'We have multiplied you from a man and a woman.' Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has created people of two kinds. Either as a woman or as a man. And each of the two has its own unique characteristics. Allah has created them this way. Therefore, one must accept this creation as it is, and align one's life accordingly. But people today do not accept this. They say, 'I am not worth less than him, and he is not worth more than me,' and thus disrupt the entire order. Then they abandon it and cause other mischief. Therefore, their actions are of no benefit to people. On the contrary, it only causes harm. One must be content with what Allah has given them. If you are a man, then you are a man; if you are a woman, then you are a woman. There is no reason to want to be different. But Satan tempts people. He whispers to them: 'If you change yourself, you will be happier and be better off.' Man is not content with himself. He is dissatisfied with how Allah has created him. One problem becomes a thousand. If you are not satisfied with what Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has given you, you can never be happy. You can never be successful. You may appear successful on the outside, but in reality, you are not. Whatever you do, people will not look upon you favorably. Therefore, one should remain as Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, has created them. The most important thing is to fulfill one's duties of worship. For Allah did not create mankind and jinn to be man or woman, but so that they may worship Him. Therefore, one should not dwell on such trivialities. They get carried away by foreign ideas, reject Allah's creation, just to satisfy their ego and to say: 'I want to be different, I want to be like this, I want to be like that.' By doing so, they only become more unhappy and worsen their situation. May Allah protect us from that. These are the temptations of the end times. In the past, one rarely heard such things. Today, one hears and sees it everywhere. May Allah protect us all from the evil of Satan and of our own egos.

The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy. (49:10) The believers are brothers, says Allah, the Exalted and Majestic. Of course, disagreements also occur among brothers. Intervene and settle their dispute, says Allah. Reconcile them. Reconcile them, so that Allah's mercy may descend upon you. In community there is mercy; in it dwells the grace of Allah. Arguing and being resentful are things that Allah does not love. Therefore, He says, 'Make peace.' Actively seek ways to reconcile. See who is in the right and who is in the wrong, give counsel and admonish them. So that they reconcile again. For remaining at odds is not permitted, says the Prophet. The Prophet, Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, says that a believer is not allowed to be angry with another for more than three days. This world is full of satanic whisperings and suspicion. That is why disputes occur. This dispute must be settled so that mercy can descend. Mercy is a tremendous, invaluable gift that Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, grants. But people only look at the material. 'That is something spiritual, what does it have to do with me?', they say. Or a person does not even think about it. Yet it is what truly counts. It is what remains. Everything else is transient. Therefore, there must be no resentment or discord over worldly matters. The Prophet, Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, says this in his noble hadith. Remaining at odds for more than three days is not permitted. May Allah protect us from that. This, too, is one of the diseases and evils of the nafs. A person blows a small matter out of proportion and starts a quarrel. And where there is strife, there is neither peace nor blessing. May Allah protect us from that. May Allah reconcile those who are at odds, insha'Allah.

The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'Whoever prays with the Imam until he finishes the prayer, will be given the reward as if he had prayed the whole night.' This means, whoever performs the obligatory and Sunnah prayers with the Imam, is considered as if he had spent the entire night in prayer and worship of Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'In the night there is an hour, in which, if a Muslim asks Allah for something good for this world or the hereafter and his prayer coincides with this hour, Allah will certainly give him what he has asked for.' This hour is present every night. This means, whoever stands up for the night prayer and prays, will, if Allah wills, certainly encounter this hour. This is an hour in which prayers are accepted. And this is so every night. Not just on one day, but every night, whoever stands up for the Tahajjud prayer and prays, will, by Allah's permission, if Allah wills, encounter this hour of acceptance (in which the prayer is answered). The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says that Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, loves three people and detests three people. That is, Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, hates them and is angry with them. The three people whom Allah loves are as follows: The first; when someone asks a group for something, not because of kinship, but only for the sake of Allah, and the others refuse him, it is the one who secretly takes him aside and gives him what he asked for, in such a way that no one knows about it except Allah. This means, if someone asks a group for something for the sake of Allah and is turned away, and one from this group helps him secretly and also for the sake of Allah, this makes the helper one of the servants whom Allah loves. It is the one who helps secretly and makes that person happy. The second; when a group traveling at night rests at a point where sleep is sweeter than anything else, and lies down, it is the one among them who does not sleep, but keeps watch, prays to Allah, and recites His verses. In the past, journeys were, of course, undertaken with caravans. It was essential that someone watched over them. So, that person, who watches over them for the sake of Allah while they sleep, prays and performs his worship at the same time. This is also one of the three servants whom Allah loves. The third; is the person who, when a unit encounters the enemy and suffers a defeat, does not flee, but fights until he either dies a martyr or achieves victory. Those who flee from battle, on the other hand, are people whom Allah does not love. The person who does not flee, confronts the enemy, and either achieves victory or dies a martyr, is the third person whom Allah loves. The three people whom Allah does not love are as follows: The old man who commits adultery. He is old and yet commits adultery. Allah detests this person, He does not love him. The arrogant poor person. He is poor and yet arrogant. Allah does not love him either. And the tyrannical rich person. The rich person who oppresses others because of his money, is also among the people whom Allah does not love. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says in another hadith that Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, loves three people and detests three people. One of the three He loves is the one who, when he encounters an enemy unit, fights them chest to chest until he is either martyred or brings victory to his comrades. This means, it is the person who sees the enemy and does not flee, but fights bravely against him; the one who says, 'Either I achieve victory or I die a martyr.' This is the first of the people whom Allah loves. Another; when a group rests on a long journey and everyone has fallen asleep exhausted, it is the one among them who retreats to a corner and prays until the time for departure has come and he wakes his companions. Someone has to watch over them. So this person watches over them and performs his worship until they wake up. This is the second person whom Allah loves. The third person is the one who is patient with their neighbor who causes them harm, until that neighbor dies or moves away. This means, the person who patiently endures the harm from his neighbor, is also a servant whom Allah loves. The person who endures the difficulties caused by his neighbor and is patient, is another of the three servants whom Allah loves. One of the people whom Allah does not love is the swearing merchant. The merchant who swears a thousand oaths to sell a product, and says: 'By Allah, it is so and so, it's worth it, it's not worth it, it is very good,' Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, does not love him. If you want to sell something, the product is out in the open, its value is what it is. There is no reason to swear. Of course, you can describe the merits of your product, but there is no reason to swear. Another is the arrogant poor person. He is poor and yet arrogant. This one is also among the people whom Allah does not love. You are poor, Allah is testing you in this way, at least do not be arrogant. And another is the miser who boasts about what he has given. He is stingy, and when he does a good deed, he holds it over people and says 'I have given, I have done.' Allah does not love this person either. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'There are three people whom the exalted Allah loves.' One who gets up during a part of the night and reads the Book of Allah. This means, the person who reads the Quran at night and stands up for the Tahajjud prayer. Another, who gives charity with his right hand and hides it from his left hand. This means, he gives the charity so secretly that, proverbially, the left hand does not know what the right is giving. Allah loves this person too. The other is the Mujahid who fights in a unit and, although his comrades flee, he himself does not flee and fights against the enemy. This means, the unit is defeated, the soldiers are fleeing. But he is the Mujahid who does not flee and continues to stand firm before the enemy. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'Allah is pleased with these three people.' He is merciful to them. These are: the person who stands for the night prayer, the congregation that forms rows for prayer, and the Mujahideen who form rows for battle. Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, is very pleased with this state of theirs and is delighted by it. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'May Allah have mercy on the man who gets up in a part of the night to pray, wakes his wife for the prayer and, if she does not want to get up, sprinkles water on her face.' 'And may Allah have mercy on the woman who gets up at night to pray, wakes her husband for the prayer and, if he does not want to get up, sprinkles water on his face.' He says, may Allah's mercy be upon them. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, says: 'Two rak'ahs of prayer, performed at midnight, are an expiation for minor sins.' Allah forgives the minor sins committed on that day. Through these two rak'ahs. The Messenger of Allah spoke the truth in what he said, or as he said it.

Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: 'In the end of time, knowledge will vanish.' How will that happen? By the disappearance of the righteous scholars. In their place, ignorant people will step up and seize the floor. They will turn people away from the religion. They will lead them astray from the right path. And we are now living in exactly this time. People appear, wearing a headscarf or having a beard, and slander the great scholars, the great Imams—those people who have transmitted the religion to us in such a wonderful way to this day. They do not acknowledge their words. It is just empty talk. They speak without substance. Instead of guiding the people, they lead them astray. They teach ignorance. Therefore, it is best not to listen to such people at all. If you listen to them, just to see what they are saying, sickness and doubt will creep into your heart and your faith will be weakened. And the weakening of faith is the very worst thing. For faith is a jewel. One must not lose this jewel. These people we are talking about have no faith. There is Islam, but no faith. Faith is a high station. One must be careful with that. One should neither talk to these people, nor listen to them, nor be in their presence. Let them yap over there as much as they want—pardon the expression. For they do nothing more. For whoever slanders the scholars, the imams of the schools of law and creed, is doing nothing but yapping. But if you listen to them, you will also start to yap. May Allah protect us from that. This time is a time of discord. If you become curious and ask, 'What is he saying? Is there perhaps some truth to it?', you are putting yourself in danger. It is not easy to preserve one's faith. Just don't lose it. Do not go to the edge of such abysses. Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: 'Do not put yourselves in danger.' The greatest danger is losing one's faith. May Allah protect us from that. Discord and corruption are everywhere. There are too many ignorant people. There are too many presumptuous people. It is not good to associate with such people, to listen to them, or even to look at them. These people have been given a platform today. In the past, if three or five people were talking somewhere, nobody would have noticed. But today, everyone grabs a microphone, sits in front of a camera, and spreads all this filth and dirt everywhere. May Allah protect us from that. One must protect oneself from the evil of Satan and of these people. They are worse than Satan. Compared to them, Satan looks like a choirboy. May Allah protect us from their evil. May He keep the community of the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, on the right path.

“...and reconciliation is best.” (4:128) Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: “And reconciliation is best.” If people followed this principle, these court cases that drag on for years, decades, or even a century today would not exist. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says: “Reconciliation is best.” You might think that you are suffering a loss in the process. But no, that is not a real loss. On the contrary, you save time. You also preserve your health. Because arguing and stubbornly insisting on your rights is draining. It wears you down—emotionally, psychologically, and also physically. For this reason, Allah, the wisest of judges and the All-Knowing, shows us the best path. Whoever follows the path of Allah, the Exalted, in all their affairs will find inner peace. But if you follow your own ego and say, “I am in the right, I must win!” then the other side will say the exact same thing. However, if both sides were to agree, it would be best for both. Therefore, there is no point in being stubborn in such matters. Even if you win in the end, it is not a true victory. You lose time and fray your nerves. And the supposed victory ultimately brings you nothing. Therefore, whatever the problem may be, seek the path of agreement. Even if it feels like you are giving in, be willing to do it. You will come to see the blessing in it. If, on the other hand, you insist on “winning” at all costs, you have gained nothing even in victory. May Allah, the Exalted, grant people the insight to follow the path He shows them, so that they may find peace. Thus they find peace in this world and gain a reward in the Hereafter. Otherwise, people torment themselves in this world with endless legal disputes. In the end, the only winners are the lawyers. There are no other winners. We all know of such cases. How many people have lost all their worldly possessions in court. The only ones who profited were the lawyers. The lawyer then says, “Go ahead and sue; we'll win this for sure.” 15 years go by, and the value of 15 houses is gone. Into whose pockets? Into the pockets of the lawyers. Therefore, adhere to the command of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted. Follow the path He shows you, so that you may find peace. May Allah help us all. May He protect us from the evil of our own egos, insha'Allah.

May this gathering serve a good purpose. These are the gatherings that Allah loves. Now, one of the brothers asked: "Which place do you prefer? Does it make a difference to you?" Thanks be to Allah – wherever we go, the state of the dergah there remains untouched by worldly affairs, both its good and bad aspects. We do not feel like strangers anywhere. Wherever our journey may take us – thanks be to Allah – this blessed gathering is the same everywhere. For it is the assembly of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is his path. These are deeds that arise from sincerity. Because people come together in sincerity, there is no difference between our dergahs – whether in the richest or the poorest country in the world. We feel at home everywhere. Wherever our paths may lead us – thanks be to Allah – this manifestation, this beauty always remains the same. Even if we travel to the end of the world and back, we do not feel like strangers. How many places we have traveled to for the sake of Allah! How many places we have visited, countless journeys undertaken – long and short – yet, thanks be to Allah, we never felt like strangers. For what matters is to be with Allah, to walk on His path. Whoever is not on Allah's path wanders about aimlessly: "Sometimes here, sometimes there." We set out to attain Allah's pleasure. Thanks to the sincere hearts of the brothers and sisters, there is – Allah willing – neither alienation nor hardship. Therefore, the journey of one who is with Allah is easy. We are all travelers. The path leads to the Hereafter. May this path be blessed, Allah willing. May it be free from harm. When we see others, we should show compassion, not judge. One must not become arrogant and think: "I am on the right path, and the others are not." This too is Allah's decree for them. They are pitiable souls. May Allah grant them guidance as well. May they find this blessed path and not go astray. Whoever takes the wrong path reaches no destination. His life remains arduous. No matter how hard he tries – he finds no peace. May Allah protect us from that. May Allah protect the family, the children, and the community of Muhammad from the schemes of Satan. The temptations of Satan are very strong today. He can lead a person astray from the right path even while they are still walking on it. May Allah protect us.
